Jacob Gonnerman, brothers Adam and Hanse , 7S 42W
 


Jacob was the only child, an infant, when Adam and Alma Gunnerman arrived in New York Sept 25, 1855 on teh Republic from Bremen.
Jacob married Alma Decker March 1, 1887 in Pottawattamie County, Iowa.


Jacob cash-claimed a quarter in 31, 7S 42W in 1891.
Jacob also had an entry for a timber claim in 7S 42W, but it wasn't copleted.

In 1900 York County, Nebraska, Jacob born Nov 1854 Germany, married 13 years to Alma May 1867 Illinois, have Leslie Jun 1889 Colorado, Albert F. Dec 1891, Sylva D. Oct 1892, Hazel A. Feb 1894, Harry June 1897, and Jessie P. June 1899
In 1910 York County, Nebraska, Jacob is 55, born in Germany, immigrating in 1856. Alma is 42, Illinois, Jacob L. 21 Colorado. Frank A. 19, Sylvia D. 17, Hazel A. 16, Harry E. 12, Jessie Paul 10, Ben W. 4, Raymond 2 and Ruth 2 were all born in Nebraska.
In 1920 York County, they have Albert 28, Hazel 25, Harry 22, Jessie P. 20, Ben 14, Raymond 12, Ruth 12, and Fritz 7.
In 1930 they have Albert 39, Hazel 36, Raymond and Ruth 22, and Fritz 17.
In 1940 they have only Albert 49, Hazel Anna 46, and Fritz 27.


Jacob Leslie Gonnerman registered for WWI in Waco, Nebraska, born January 24, 1889 at Burlington, Colorado. He was farming, with a wife and one child.


Jacob 1854-1940 is buried in Polk County # 33071526. "Jacob was born in Germany, to Adam Gonnermann and Anna Catherine (Wetzel) Gonnermann. They came to the United States in 1855. They bought the Gonnerman family farm southwest of Hurdland Missouri in 1865. The family farm is still occupied by families and is a 5th generation family farm. "

Jacob's parents Adam 1833-1908 and Anna C. 1829-1898 are buried in Knox County, Missouri # 37311899.
ADAM
In 1892 Adam Gonnerman proved up a quarter in 22, 7S 42W (KANSAS) This might be Jacob's brother 1860-1919, buried in Knox County, Missouri.

HANSE
Also in 1892, Hanse Gonnerman proved up a quarter in 22, 7S 42W., Kansas.
In 1906, Hanse sold that quarter to Dell Doss.
Hanse Gonnerman, born May 28, 1863 in Illinois to Adam and Anna Wallace, died in Knox County, Missouri November 25, 1930, to be buried in Mt. Tabor cemetery. # 37313762. He was single, a farmer.
In 1870 Knox County, Missouri, Adam is 36, Ann Catrina 38, Jacob 15, Henry 13, Charles 11, Adam 10, Fredricka 9, ERNST 7, Christiana 6, Anna 2, and Alpha two months.


He's probably the Hance Gonnerman in 1880 Knox County, Missouri i, age 16, with A. 45 and Katharine 45.
In 1910 York County, Nebraska, Hans is single, a farm hand for William Davidson. This says he was born in Missouri, parents in Kentucky and New York.
In 1885 Pottawattamie COunty, Iowa, Jacob is 30, Charles 28, Adam 26, Hance 24, all born in Illinois.
