Jane Carol Dichian , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Dichiao of 2909 Lavin Court, Troy, and Ross N. Morgan Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross N. Morgan of Phoenix, N.Y., were married June 29, 1975, in St. Peter's Armenian Apostolic Church, Watervliet, New York, with Rev. Garen Gdanian officiating. Maid of-honor was Lisa K. Hermanson and bridesmaids were Alice L. Ammian, Rosemary Rivest, cousin of the bride, and Judy Williams, sister of the bridegroom. Rest man was Joseph Lorinl, and ushers were Paul E. Dichian and Andrew Morgan, brothers of the couple, and John Rowland. The reception was held at Michael's Banquet House. After a motor trip to Maine, the couple will live in Bailey's Crossroads, Va. A graduate of Troy High School and Ithaca College, the bride taught music in the Wallkill School District. The bridegroom, a graduate of Phoenix High School and Ithaca College, is a specialist with Pershing's Own Band, stationed at Fort Meyer, Arlington, Virginia." ROSS NICHOLAS MORGAN, JR. (Age 60) On September 1, 2013, of Alexandria, Virginia, formerly of Phoenix, New York. Ross was a proud member of the United States Army Band "Pershing's Own," stationed at Ft. Myer, Virginia. He was the unit's first Command Sergeant Major and honorably served as a tubist in the band for 35 years. Survived by his wife Jane, daughters Virginia Nipper (Brandon), Anna and Elizabeth Morgan, mother Kathryn Morgan, sister Judy Williams (Dan), brother Andrew (Vicki), and three nephews, James and Matthew Williams and Jeremy Morgan. A funeral service will take place at the Ft. Myer War Memorial Chapel followed by interment at Arlington National Cemetery which will be held at a later date. |
