She might be the "Emma S." Peterson in 1880 Des Moines County, Iowa, 17, born in Iowa, with parents Charles 63 and Anna 60, both born in Sweden.
Sophia proved up a quarter in 22, 7S 42W in 1895.
In 1900 Kit Carson County, Andrew Anderson, born January 1867 in Sweden, married 12 years to Sophia May 1863 Iowa, have Carl I. June 1889, Lillian L. January 1891, Ray January 1893, Erle V. Feb 1895, and Everet Sept 1894, all kids born in Colorado.
In 1910 Larimer County, farming, Andrew is 43, Sophia 46, Ivan 20, Lillian 19, Virgil 17, Earl 15, Winnie 8, Floyd 6, and Lial 3.

" birthplace as Scona, Sweden; he came to the US at the age of 15 or 16 to join brothers and sisters in Chicago to follow the family occupation of tailors.
Andrew went west while working for the railroads, locating in Burlington, Iowa. He homesteaded in eastern Colorado near the Kansas-Colorado line in 1887. He married Sophia E. Anderson (or Emma Sophia Peterson Anderson) on Feb 13, 1888. They farmed their homestead for 16 years before coming to Fort Collins in 1904.

WINONA
Winona B. Anderson married Dewey John Koeper on June 8, 1921, recorded in Larimer County.

"That 1904 flood took all the bridges out of the Poudre River except one down by Hottel's Mill. It was the worst flood we ever had. I remember, as a little kid, I saw a chicken house going down the river with chickens on top. Dewey Koeper. "

1956 Harlan, Iowa "Mr and Mrs Dewey Koeper of Fort Collins, Colorado, arrived in Harlan last Sunday to visit Mrs. Koeper's brother and wife, Dr. and Mrs Carl L Anderson, They left early Wednesday morning,'accompanied by Dr. and Mrs Anderson, for Elk Horn, Wisconsin, to visit in the home of another brother, Dr. Roland Anderson and family. From there the two couples will drive to Worland, Wyoming, to attend the wedding of a niece, Patricia Anderson, on Tuesday"

CARL IVAN
"Carl L. Anderson, son of Andrew and Sophia Anderson, was born June 9, 1889 near Burlington, Colorado, and died June 9, 1959. At the age of 15 he moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado, where he graduated from high school. He attended the State University of Iowa, graduated from the School of Dentistry in 1913 and began his practice in Boise, Idaho. He was united in marriage to Florence Page on June 15, 1915 nn Boise, Idaho. Shortly afterward he enlisted in the army, serving in World War I, after which he came to Manilla, Iowa. He remained there until 1934 when he and his family moved to Harlan, where he has since lived "

FLOYD
In 1930 Larimer County, Floyd is 26, farming, with Bernice 21 and three-month-old Gwendolyn.

In 1940 Larimer County, Floyd H. is 36, farming, with Bernice, 31 Nebraska, Gwendolyn 10, Dwaine 7, and Darrell, 1.

" Came to Fort Collins in 1904 and attended Old No. 16 School and Fort Collins High School. Married Bernice Fester on Feb. 13, 1929 in Denver. Sons Duane Lial of Albuquerque and Darrell Floyd of Livermore (and later owner of Phillips gas station on W. Elizabeth). Daughter Gwendolyn Anderson Drager of Lakewood in 1984. Died of complications related to Parkinson's disease. "


Darrell Anderson, 67, of Fort Collins, passed away on March 11, 2007.Darrell was born on April 11, 1939 in Fort Collins to Floyd and Bernice Anderson. As a youngster, Darrell would ride his horse from the farm at College and Drake to the #16 School. He enjoyed helping his dad on the farm and working with animals. During Darrell's school years he was a member of Future Farmers of America and played sports through high school. Darrell always loved rodeo and was a member of the Rodeo Cowboys Association. Darrell enlisted in the United States Army in 1957. Darrell married Lois Carpenter in 1962. They had two daughters April and Brooke and a son Andy. They later divorced. Darrell operated 2 local gas stations, a Mobile Gas and Service Station and a Phillips 66 Gas and Service Station. He owned Rocky Mountain Stables, worked on the Hanson Ranch in Livermore, CO and retired from Poudre School District after working in the grounds department for 18 years.Darrell enjoyed spending time with his family, rodeo and traveling. His travels included going to the PRCA National Finals Rodeo, visiting his sister Gwen and her husband Kenny in St. Croix, Virgin Islands, going to the Calgary Stampede in Canada and visiting Denmark, Sweden, London, Ireland and Paris with his friend Patti.Darrell is survived by his daughters, April and her husband, Mike Treloar, of Fort Collins, Brooke and her husband, Walter Pilkington Jr. of Fort Collins; son Andy and his wife, Gina Anderson, of Casper, WY; sister, Gwen and her husband Kenny Drager of Lakewood; grandchildren, Danny, Tyler, Jeff, Jeremy, Chris and Rachel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Bernice and his brother Duane.Darrell suffered from emphysema and COPD for the last few years of his life. He fought the disease with a sparkle in his eye, smile on his face and the determination of a champion bull ride. Good ride cowboy!Memorial contributions will be used to benefit the children of Poudre School District. Please send to April Treloar, 619 N. Briarwood Road, Fort Collins .Visitation will be from 5-7pm, Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Allnutt Drake Chapel.Services will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 1:00pm also at Allnutt Drake Chapel with a reception following at the Allnutt Reception Center. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery.

On April 28, 2015 our beloved mother, grandmother and friend was called to heaven. Gwendolyn Mary Drager was born on December 28, 1929 in Fort Collins, Co. She lived in many places such as Fort Collins, Norman, OK, Lakewood, Applewood, and St. Croix, USVI. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Green Gloves Garden Club and Antique Club. She was an adventurous soul who enjoyed scuba diving, traveling the world visiting such countries as Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, Australia and Fiji. She made friends with everyone she met and her smile would light up every room. She is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 61 years, Kenneth Drager. She will be dearly missed by her three sons, Clayton, Kurt and Quentin, as well as her three grandchildren, Jennifer, Kirsten, and Kenna, four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A memorial service will be held at Sheppard of the Hills Presbyterian Church, 11500 W. 20th Ave., Lakewood, CO at noon on Thursday May 14, 2015.

VIRGIL
" Dr. Virgel Raymond Anderson, D.D.S., 68, died Wednesday afternoon of a heart attack at his home in Manning, Iowa. He had practiced dentistry here since 1921. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Presbyterian Church in Manning; and burial will be at 5 p.m. at Marshalltown. The Rev. Carl Sinning will officiate. Mrs. H. W. Hagedorn will be organist and Mrs. Virginia Adams, Marshalltown, vocal soloist. The body is at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.

Survivors Surviving are his wife, the former Feme B. Austin; two daughters, Mrs. Charles M. (Marilynn) Cole, Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. James T. (Donavieve) Adams , Marshalltown; three grandchildren, Cynthia and Karen Cole and June Adams;
and the following brothers and sisters; Lillian Anderson, Earl Anderson, Mrs. Dewey (Wynona) Koeper and Floyd Anderson, all of Fort Collins, Colo.; Dr. Lial Anderson, Worland, Wyo.; and Dr. Roland Anderson, Elkhorn, Wis. Dr. Anderson was born Jan. 2, 1893, near Burlington, Colo. As a small boy he moved with his family to a farm near Fort Collins, where he attended school. He attended high school at Iowa City for his senior year, graduating ...
Serving in World War I, he received his discharge in 1918. In the spring of 1919, he received his D.D.S. degree at the State University of Iowa. Practiced at Manilla Following his graduation, Dr. Anderson came to Manilla to practice dentistry. He and Mrs. Anderson were married June 29, 1919, at Scottsbluff, Neb. They moved to Manning in 1921; and Dr. Anderson was still active in his profession at the time of his death. Active in civic affairs, he was a past commander of Emil Ewoldt Post, American Legion; a member of Manual Lodge; past patron of Salona Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star; a member of the Presbyterian Church, serving on its board of trustees in the past; and was active on the Manning Public Library. Board. He was a member of the school board for seven years; the town council for a number of years; and was a trustee of the Manning Municipal light plant for 10 years. Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother Everett in infancy; and another brother, Dr. Carl Ivan Anderson, Harlan.
LIAL


Lial S. Anderson married Alice I. Rodamar on December 22, 1932, recorded in Jefferson County.

Alice Anderson of Waco, age 93, died Monday, December 17, 2001 at a local nursing home. Private family services will be held in Waco with a graveside service in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
Mrs. Anderson was born in 1908 in Waterloo, Iowa. She attended Grinnell University and the University of Iowa. While attending the University she was one of three women chosen by Cecil B. DeMille as an outstanding young woman. After marrying Dr. Lial Anderson in 1932, she lived in Worland, Wyoming, where he practiced medicine for many years. Together they built the first hospital in the town. Mrs. Anderson taught school a short time and was the organist at the First Methodist Church.
Survivors: Daughters: Pat Kaiser and husband Kurt of Waco Sue McGarvin and husband Larry of TenSleep, WY.
Son: Andrew Anderson and wife Mariejanne of Riverside, CA.
Sister: Ruth Corcoran of Chelsea, MI.

Alven L. Anderson proved up two quarters in 3, 7S 42W in 1917.
William J. Anderson prove dup a quarter in 5, 7S 42W in 1919.
