FRANK
In 1910 Kit Carson County, Frank is farming, 41, born in Germany,
married eight years to Mary 27 New York. Mike 6 was born in New York,
Edward 3 in Kansas, and Amelia four months old in Colorado.
In 1920 Plattsburgh, New York, Frank is 52 - saying born in Pennsylvania, with Mary 35 New York, Michael 16 New York, Edward 12 Kansas, Amelia 10 Colorado, William 4 and Frances M. newborn New York.
"Frank J. Knuffke, 76, a veteran of the Spanish-America War,
died at his home at 29 Monty St., Plattsburgh, New York, at nine o'clock this morning,
May 29, 1944. His death followed a long illness.
Surviving Mr. Knuffke are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Amelia Byrne, Waterhouse St. and Mrs. Virginia Hunneman, 41 Bridge St.; four sons, Patrolman Edward J. Knuffke, Plattsburgh Police Department, William Knuffke, Buffalo, Michael Knuffke, Worcester, Mass., and Francis Knuffke, somewhere in England. Three brothers, Henry, Charles and Michael Knuffke of Hannover, Kas., also survive.
The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 o'clock when services will be held in Trinity Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The body is resting at 29 Monty Street.

Mrs. Mary S. Knuffke, 93, of 22 Mickle St., died Monday morning, November 24, 1975,
at the CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh, New York.
She was born in Champlain on July 30, 1882, the daughter of Eli and Hellena (Thompson) Perria. She was the widow of Frank J. Knuffke.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Amila Bayne of Plattsburgh; four sons, Edward and William both of Plattsburgh, Michael of Worchester, Mass., and Frank of Millerton; 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Brown Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the family lot at Riverside Cemetery, Plattsburgh. "
"Amelia E. Bayne, 87, formerly of Waterhouse St. died Friday Nov. 14, 1997,
at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home, Plattsburgh, New York.
She was born in Flagler, Colo., Dec. 23, 1909, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Perria) Knuffke.
She was the widow of Martin Osadcow Bayne.
Mrs. Bayne enjoyed crocheting and bingo.
She is survived by two sons, and daughter-in-law, John Bayne of Plattsburgh and Paul and Myra Bayne if Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Marion Knuffke of West Chazy; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A son, Martin Bayne Jr. died before her.
A brother, Michael A. Knuffke, 25, married Hattie Mika on November 3, 19303 in Washington County, Kansas.
He's a building contractor in Sidney Nebraska in 1920, 43, with Hattie 33 and four kids.
They're in Fort Collins, Colorado in 1930, Michael 54, Hattie 43,
Clarence 25, Arthur 20, Ernest 16, Florence 12, Raymond 9, and Floyd 7.
Hattie is in Fort Collins in 1940, married but no spouse, with Arthur 30, Raymond 19, adn Floyd 17.
Florence Emily Rathbun 1917-2004 is buried in Albuquerque # 87380941.
Raymond M. Knuffke 1921-2010 is buried in DFW National, # 49447929.
Dolores Jane Knuffke, born March 8, 1933, age 79, passed away peacefully Friday,
Nov. 2, 2012, on All Souls Day. She had endured redemptive suffering since March,
surrounded daily by her family. Funeral: Please join us in celebration of Dolores' life with a Mass of a Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2016 Willis Lane, Keller, with Father Jim McGhee as celebrant. Interment: Dolores will be laid to rest next to her husband, Raymond, at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery."
Floyd is buried in Fresno, California # 73087374.
"Floyd Knuffke, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 17, 2011, in the presence of his wife, Melba; and two of his children, Terry and Chris.
Floyd was a veteran of World War II, proudly serving as a sailor in the United States Navy in the South Pacific.
After the war, he continued to serve his country in the U.S. Naval Reserve until 1955.
Until his retirement, Floyd was Sales Manager for Schilling/ McCormick.
Floyd was a member of the Third Order of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and St. Teresa of Avila; he was a Fourth Degree Knight and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus at St. Anthony's; and he was in the Silver Angels of St. Anthony's and the Silver Foxes of Clovis.
After retirement he served in various apostolic works, especially as Chief Financial Officer for Catholic Truth International from 1986 - 2000.
Floyd and Melba proudly celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, on April 28, 2011.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Melba Knuffke, of Fresno; children, Terry Tolbert of Tacoma, Wa., and Chris Knuffke of Santa Clarita, Ca.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and two half-sisters, Rosie and Mikie of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Rex. "
