Frank is farming in 1910 Kit Carson County, 23, born in Iowa, living alone.
Frank Lyle Gates claimed a tract in 19, 6S 50W in 1913.
On February 27, 1913 he married Matilda Caroline Martins, 25, in Prole, Warrent County, Iowa.
She was the daughter of John Frederick Martens and Barbara May Huglin.
So Frank didn't stay long in Kit Carson County.
He registered for WWI in Norwalk, Iowa, born October 18, 1886 in Prole, Iowa, with a wife and two children.
In 1920 Warren COunty, Frank is farming, 33, with Matilda C. 32, Clyde M. 6, John L. 4, adn Ralph L. 2, all born in Iowa.
Frank Lyle Gates 1886-1968 was born and died in Warren County, Iowa # 41783435.
