"Heirs of John Doyle, deceased" claimed a quarter in Elbert County earlier in 1894. So there could have been two John Doyles.

John 1860-1950 is buried in Thedford # 59097542, with Hattie C. 1880-1961.
1959 Lincoln, Nebraska " Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Larsen of Thedford
are the parents of Miss Carol Ann Larsen, who is a senior at the
University of Nebraska and a member of Chi Omega Sorority.
She spent one summer attending summer school in Hawaii.
Other trips have taken her to Canada, Europe and many of the states.
Miss Larsen's parents are native Nebraskans and her paternal
grandmother, Mrs. Edward Larsen of Seneca, was born near Minden.
Mrs. John Doyle of Thedford, Miss Larsen’s maternal grandmother,
came to Nebraska in 1893."
Anthony proved up a tract in section 3, 6S 50W in 1894.
He's possibly the James A. Doyle, brother of Rosa and John in Pottawatamie County. In 1900 Pottawatomie County, James is 36, Mary 34, miarried eight years. Mary is 7, FLorence 6, Leo M. 4, and Regina two months, all born in Kansas.
James A. Doyle 1865-1956 is buried in Pottawatomie County # 22643923, with Mary E. 1866-1935.
Mary's father Thomas Slevin 1824-1897 is buried there, too # 90785470.
July 1898 Logansport, Indiana "Anthony Doyle went to Champaign, Illinois,
on Saturday to care for his wife, who had a stroke of paralysis,
from which it is thought she cannot recover." This is the third of his four wives, dying in 1907. He was married to Rebecca in 1920, Anthony 87 and Rebecca Jane Doyle 83.
This was probably the Anthony Doyle, a physician in St. Joseph, Illinois, according to the Champaign County history.
His brother George Doyle was later a physician there.
George Doyle was born in Seneca County Ohio and was born December 28, 1835, son of Nicholas Doyle - Anthony Doyle, Nicholas' father, never left Ireland, in the Pike County, Illinois history.
This Anthony was born 1832 in Ohio,
dying November 5, 1925 in Pike County, Illinois,
to be buried in Patterson cemetery, Champaigh.
Another possible - Anthony Doyle 1813-1900 buried in Beatrice, Nebraska # 73481549.
John Doyle 1871-1932 is buried in Gage County, too # 35796141.

Anthony Doyle is a wood dealer, born Sept 1846,
just married to Betsy May 1854,
both born in Canada.
Eliza J. Jan 1883 Nebraska, Miriam May 1887, Andrew Aug 1887, and Edward Oct 1889 were
born in South Dakota, Daniel March 1892 (born in Rushville Nebraska )and Alma Dec 1883 in Nebraska, Joseph and Josephinne Augst 1896 in Sout Dakota, and Nora Oct 1898 in South Dakota. Also with them are Json James July 1878 in Wisconsin, Alexander Dec 1880, adMichael Mar 1882 in Wisconsin, and John Feb 1886 in Nebraska.
It doesn't seem likely that this Anthony had
time to complete the requirement for a five-year
homestead acquisition.
