In 1900 Humboldt County, Iowa, John Biegger is 50, born at sea, married 28 years to Mary 46 Iowa. Andrew 21, Frank 17, Carrie 15, and George 13 were all born in Iowa.
September 11, 1929 "married Mary Nienan in 1873 in Clayton Indiana
. In 1882 they moved on a farm near Hardy and from there on a
farm near ... In 1913 they moved to Livermore building a
residence in the south part of .... Biegger died in Livermore...
and shortly afterward Biegger went to live with Frank
on the home farm near....Biegger is survived by five 6hildren
and one adopteds John and Frank at ...Anton of ....
Carrie Davis of..... George of Livermore and the adopted at
Fort Henry .... He is also survived by one sister....

A few months ago his son Frank living on the old home farm

John Biegger Jr. was the editor and publisher of the Bode Bugle, Humbold County in 1895.
GEORGE
George claimed a quarter in 33, 6S 49W in 1908.
He married Rose Klasse on February 20, 1908 in Kit Carson County.
In 1910 George is a barber in Humboldt County, 24, married two years, with Rose 24 born in Iowa.
The barber shop was started in 1916 and owned by George Biegger. Russell Ferguson worked for Biegger and later bought the shop in 1924.
In 1915 Rose is in the town of Livermore,
a housewife, born in Iowa, father in Switzerland, mother in Wisconsin.
In 1920 George is in Humboldt County, with a wife 34 - no name.
Rosine Biegger, born October 5, 1885 to Theodore Klasse
and Barbara Fritag, died in Webster County, Iowa December 29, 1926.
She was to be buried in Livermore, # 14955258.
George, a gravel contractor, 44, born in Humboldt County to John Biegger
and Mary Nenow,
married Etta Myrtle O'Brien, nee Wertz, 44, on April 2, 1929 in Humboldt County.
1961 Kossuth County "Mr Andrew Beigger of South Dakota and Mr and Mrs Geo. Biegger of St. Petersburg, Fla. accompanied Mr and Mrs Victor Newton of Clarion for a visit in the John Wonderly home."
George A. Biegger born August 31, 1885, dying January 18, 1983 in Pinellas County, FLorida.
# 102022384 says "A memorial service for George Biegger, 97, former Livermore resident,
was to be held Friday at St Petersburg, Fla. The body was cremated.
Mr Biegger died Tuesday evening at his home in St Petersburg.
He is survived by his wife. Mr Beigger operated a barbershop in Livermore at one time
and farmed a farm presently owned by Edwin Ver Steeg, near Livermore.
He moved from the Livermore area several years ago.
Myrtle Wertz was born August 1886 in Illinois.
In 1900 she's with parents Samuel 52 and Elizabeth 47. Earl is 10.
Myrtle's father died in June 1938 "Bloomington, Illinois:
Samuel Wertz, 90, died at his home here Monday after several days illness of heart
disease. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday from the Nigh Chapel
church with the Rev. Kenneth Tyler officiating. Burial will be in Eart cemetery.
The body was removed to the Harris funeral home in Pontiac and will remain until Tuesday.
He was born April 1, 1849, in Bedford county, Pennsylvania, son of Charles and Sarah
Lyons Wertz. At the age of 2 years, he moved with his parents to Pekin and in 1965,
he moved to near here. In 1869, he married Miss Elizabeth Augusta Blake in Amity
township, Livingston county. She died in 1911. He was a farmer near here until 1911,
when he moved to Pontiac where he lived until 192S. He is survived by a son,
Earl, of here, and two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Biegger of Livermore, Iowa,
and Mrs. Sarah Young, Canyon City, Colo. There are two brothers,
William of Cornell and John of Bennett, Neb. There are also six grandchildren. "
Elizabeth 1844-1911 is buried in Livingston County, with Samuel 1848-1938.
January 2, 1941 Bloomington " Word has been received here of the sudden death of
Mrs. Myrtle Wertz Beigger (sic) of Livermore, Iowa, in San Francisco, Calif., Dec. 26. Mrs. Beigger is the daughter of
the late Samuel and Elizabeth Wertz and was born and raised on a farm one and a half
miles north of Graymont. She is survived by her husband, G. A.
Beigger, and a son Harold of Humboldt, Iowa, a brother Earle Wertz of Graymont
and a sister, Mrs. S. Young of Canon City, Colo. Particulars pertaining to her death and burial have not been leasned at"
January 15, 1958 "Mrs. Sarah Wertz Young of Canon City, Colo.,
a former Graymont area resident, died Monday at her home in Colorado.
Funeral and burial services will be held Thursday at Canon City."
Sarah D. Young 1873-1958 is buried in Canon City 3 100135574, with Hiram S. Young 1868-1947.
Their son Francis Samuel Young 1911-1994 is buried in Canon City # 100302442.
Their daughter Evelyn Ruth Young, born in Payola Kansas
October 28, 1913, died in Pueblo, Colorado February 13, 2004. She's buried in Canon City # 100135033.
CARRIE
Carrie claimed a quarter in 33, 6S 49W in 1909.
In 1910 she's back in Humboldt County, 25, married to George C. DEavis 24, living with parents John and Mary.
1953 Kossuth County "Mr. and Mrs. Frank Biegger,
accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Victor Newton, of Clarion,
visited a week ago Saturday and Sunday in Winfred,
S. D., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Biegger.
Mrs. Newton and Frank Biegger are sister and
brother of Andrew Biegger."
1961 Kossuth County "Mr Andrew Beigger of South Dakota and Mr and Mrs Geo. Biegger of St. Petersburg, Fla. accompanied Mr and Mrs Victor Newton of Clarion for a visit in the John Wonderly home."
She's buried in Humboldt County 1884-1970 # 102317970.
"Funeral services for Carrie A. Newton, 85,
St. Joseph, Mo., were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday,
Sept. 15, in Sacred Heart Church, Livermore.
Rev. John G. Skahill officiated at the services
and burial was in Calvary cemetery at Livermore
with Hamilton-Wilson Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
Mrs. Newton was born Carrie Biegger,
daughter of John and Mary Meaneau Biegger Nov 6, 1884
in Humboldt county. She was raised in Livermore and
later married Victor T. Newton. She had lived in
Clarion for 32 years and moved to St. Joseph, Mo.
in 1963. Her husband is deceased.
Surviving are two sons; Maurice J. Davis, St. Joseph, Mo., and Cramer G. Davis, Oak Harbor, Wash. There are five grandsons and seven great grandchildren. One brother, Geo. Biegger, St. Petersburg, Fla., also survives. Mrs. Newton was a member of the St. Joseph Co. Cathedral and a past member of the Rebecca Lodge at Clarion.
FRANK and NELLE
Frank claimed a quarter in 32, 6S 49W in 1908.
Nelle claimed a quarter in 32, 6S 49W in 1913.
They married on July 9, 1908, recorded in Denver.
In 1910 Kit Carson County, Frank is 28, born in Iowa, Nellie 31 Illinois, with newborn David. Hsister laurel Wessell 19 born in Iowa with her daugther Mary Ellen Wessell eight months old born in Colorado, father born in Minnesota.
Frank and Nellie are farming in Kossuth County, Iowa when registering for WWI. He was born July 27, 1881.
1953 Kossuth County "Mr. and Mrs. Frank Biegger,
accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Victor Newton, of Clarion,
visited a week ago Saturday and Sunday in Winfred,
S. D., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Biegger.
Mrs. Newton and Frank Biegger are sister and
brother of Andrew Biegger."
October 1953 "Mr. and Mrs. Dave Biegger,
of Coquille, Ore., have arrived to visit the
former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Biegger.
Frank Biegger has been a patient at the Memorial
hospital at Britt, since Sept. 19.
He is much improved."
Frank is buried in Humboldt County # 61918508.
"Frank Biegger, son, of John and Mary Neneau Biegger was born near Guttenburg, Clayton county, Iowa on July 27, 1881. When about three years of age he moved with his parents to the farm south east 6f LuVerne where he spent most of his life. He was married on July, 9, 1908 to Nelle Aldrich of Humboldt.
He was actively engaged in farming until eight years ago when he retired but continued to make the farm his home. During the last few years Mr. and Mrs. Biegger traveled extensively.
He passed away at his farm home, Monday, Dec. 21, 1953, at the age of 72. He had been in ill health for several months.
Surviving are his wife, a son, David of Coquille, Ore., a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Lenora) McDermott of Thor, Ia., two grandchildren Michael and Patricia McDermott. Also two brothers, Antone Biegger Of Winfred, S.D. and George Biegger of St. Petersburg, Fla. One sister Mrs. Victor (Carrie) Newton of Clarion.
A son, Keith Biegger preceded him in death in 1941.
"The facts in this case were stipulated. It is a law action brought by Humboldt County, Iowa, against Frank Biegger and Mrs. Frank Biegger, parents of J. Keith Biegger, for money expended by Humboldt County, Iowa, for the care and support furnished J. Keith Biegger while he was a patient at the state sanatorium at Oakdale, Iowa, from January 11, 1937, until July 24, 1938. It is agreed that J. Keith Biegger is the son of Frank Biegger and Mrs. Frank Biegger, and that he was admitted to the state sanatorium at Oakdale, Iowa, on January 11, 1937. It is further stipulated that J. Keith Biegger reached his maturity on April 28, 1937, and that at the time he was admitted to the state sanatorium at Oakdale, Iowa, he was a minor child of the said Bieggers. That the amounts paid by Humboldt County, Iowa, to wit, $1,013.55, were for the continuous care and support of J. Keith Biegger from the date of his admission to the state sanatorium until his release or discharge on July 24, 1938."

"Services for Mrs. Nelle M. Biegger, 90, will be at
10 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 1969, at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church in Livermore with burial in Mount
Calvary Cemetery there. A rosary service will be at
8 p.m. Wednesday in Humboldt. Casket bearers will be
Marshall Clancy, Albert Hefti, Harold Traager,
Loren Kelliag and Otto Swaasoo. Mrs. Biegger died
Sunday afternoon at Mercy Hospital in Fort Dodge.
She had made her home at the Humboldt Care Center for the
past year and a half and entered the hospital Saturday.
Surviving are a daughter, Lenora, (Mrs. Lawrence McDermott,) Tnor,
a son, David B. Biegger, Sin Francisco, Calif.;
two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Jeff Boogie,
Detroit Lakes, Minn. Nelle Aldrich was born at Rockford, Illionois
came to Humboldt as a child and was reared and educated
here. In 1907 she married Frank Biegger in Denver, Colo.,
aad the couple homesteaded for five years at Selbert,
Colorado, before moving to a farm southeast of
Lu Verne. Mr. Biegger died in 1953."
