Alderson resident who died Monday in a Weston hospital, was to be today at McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg. The Rev. Dan Moore was to officiate and burial was to be in Alderson Cemetery. Mr. Ackerman was a retired Interior decorator for Macy's Department Store in New York He lived in Alderson for nine years. He was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church at Saddie Rock, N. J., and the Belleville, N. J., Masonic Lodge. Survivors: wife, Marie, daughters, Mrs. John B. Seeley of White Plains, N.Y., Mrs Charles Ackerman of Reseda Calif.; sister, Mrs. Lauretta Mitchell of Columbus, Ind.; seven grandchildren. "
