Milo is single in 1905 Page County, Iowa, farming, both parents born in Vermont.
Henry H. Thurber 1844-1936 is buried in
Harrison County, Iowa # 134342582, with his second wife Chloe 1856-1932,
with Orrisa 1856-1895 buried in Jewell County, Kansas # 24097015.
Alymer Ray Thurber 1874-1931 is buried in
Jewell County, Kansas # 42239513.
So is Amy R. Lewis 1875-1902 # 42239322.
April 8, 1899 "E. M. Thurber, who was burned out at Craig, Neb., recently, was one
of the first settlers at Idalia. He had the store there from '88 to '96, and still owns
property in that neighborhood." This is possibly an uncle.
1909 Wray "Milo Thurber of Idalia and D. S. Manly of Tuttle, Colo., were over from the south country the first of this week
Milo Merton Thurber, age 34, of Carey (a post office in northern Kit Carson County)
married Lovica Wynn of Kirk on July 11, 1911 in Seibert, COlorado.
Milo claimed a quarter in 10, 6 South, 48W in 1915.
In 1920 Benton County, Arkansas, Milo M. 42 born in Iowa, Lovica 28 born in Dakota, Nellie E. 6 and Everett 1 both born in Colorado. Warren W. is next household, 35 born in Iowa.
Miles is still farming in Benton County in 1930, 52, with "Lonica" 37, Nellie E. 17, "Evertell" W. 11, Clarence D. 7, and Vern R. 4.
Milo is a carpenter in 1940 Benton County, 52, with Lovica 43, Everett 22, Clarence 18, Alma 5 and Delma 5.
Milo 1877-1957 # 12387283 and Lovica W. Thurber 1893-1951 are buried in Benton County, Arkansas.
EVERETT
Everett W. Thurber 1918-2009 is buried
in Oklahoma City, # 33395629.
"Everett W. Thurber, 90, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away January 29, 2009.
He was born October 22, 1918 in Burlington, Colorado to Milo and Lovica (Wynn) Thurber.
He was a proud WWII Veteran who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, receiving five Bronze Stars
for battles and campaigns in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe.
He retired as Superintendent of Scharlach & French and was a member of Carpenters Union 329
and American Legion Post 12. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen;
son Warren and wife Lecia; daughter Linda Dobbs and husband Carroll;
grandchildren John and wife Beth, Lisa and boyfriend Trevor Smith, Michael and wife Carissa,
and Chris; sister Delma McNulty; and many special nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Carter's staff, especially Shannon, Ronnie and Danny.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, February 4, 1:00 p.m. in Resurrection Cemetery. "

Alma Lue (Thurber) Bednar 1934-2006 is buried in Oklahoma City Cleveland County # 13936887, with Gene Bednar 1929-2004.
DELMA
Delma J. McNulty was at one time listed as living in Oklahoma City.
WARREN
Warren Wesley Thurber registered for WWI in Kanorado Kansas, a well driller,
with his nearest relatie Milo Thurber of Kanorado. Warren was born Sept 28, 1884.
Warren W. Thurber of Pasadena, California, 43, married Mrs. Julia C. Jarrett of Kanorado Kansas on September 28, 1925 in Burlington>
In 1930 Mesa County, Colorado, Warren is farming, 46, with Julia 55. Julia's mother Eliza J. Hyatt 74 North Carolina is with them.
Warren is buried in Boulder # 11113898, dying in 1966, with Julia Caroline (Hyatt) Thurber
1873-1968 # 11113899. Her first husband Joseph H. Jarrett 1866-1924 is buried in Kanorado.
