In 1900 Marion County, W.H. Walker is a blacksmith, born July 1840, married 32 years to Mary born April 1850, have Oliver March 1870, Nellie October 1871, and W. F. Spet 1892 born in Illinois. Walter July 1881 adn Leroy May 1885 were born i n Iowa, and Harland January 1891 and Lena June 1892 in Kansas. Mary's mohter Elizabeth Carr born October 1818 in Kentucky is with them.

Dennis Long, son of H.V. Long and Mary Anderson, married Lena Walker on March 18, 1910 in Albia Iowa. He was born in Monroe Ounty.
In 1910 Kit Carson County, Dennis is 19, born in Iowa, just married to Lena, 17 born in Kansas. He's a farm laborer for his father-in-law W. H. Walker 69 and Mary 61, both born in Illinois. Garland C. Walker is 19, and two next households are W. F. Walker 37 and Nellie Walker 38, both single.

Tacoma, Washington "Our dear Grandma Long, 103, passed away peacefully on May 28, 1996 at Park Rose Care Rose Center. Born in Salina, KS to William and Mary Carr Walker. Raised in Hamilton, IA, married Dennis Long March 18, 1910. She is the last of her family of the Walkers of Wigton, Scotland. They had a total of 72 descendants including four great-great-great-grandchildren. She leaves to mourn her only surviving daughter Evelyn Snyder of Denver, CO and 68 living descendants and families; also numerous friends that she has touched throughout her extended long life on this earth. She will be inurned with her beloved Dennis at Crown Hill Cemetery, Denver, CO. It was her wishes there will be no services. She will be deeply missed by her granddaughter Marilyn White (Joe) of Tacoma, having cared for her since July 1990. We know the angels will love your songs on their heavenly piano. Evelyn M. Long, 19, married Howard H. Mervin on January 10, 1930 in Denver.
She's divorced in 1940, a restaurant waitress, living with parents. Jacqueline is 9, Barbara 7.

Myrtle is with parents in 1940, 21, married to Lawrence Schultz, 29, born in Il linois. They ahve Lyle B. 4, Janet Elaine 3, and Deennis Larry 1.


Eileen and Raymond Gray divorced in Arapahoe County in 1931.

Guy Maddon Long registered for WWI with a Vona, Colorado address, born January 16, 1885, farming, with his parents at Willard, Colorado his nearest relative.
But then he moved back to Logan County, for the 1920 census, and is married in 1930 Logan County, 44, married to Laura 38 born in England, with Eric R. 4.
In 1942, Guy, Laura - born February 16, 1892 , married in Toronto Canada October 29, 1921, with Eric Roo Long, born October 12, 1925 at Sterling Colorado, arrived from Scotland in New York. They were living at 4068 Bryant, Denver.
He died in Lane County, Oregon on March 15, 1957.
Laura D. Long, 1892-1976, died in Washington County, Oregon.

In 1920 Denver, William H. Walker is 79, Mary 69, Alma 51 is a seamstress, Leroy 55 a piano finisher, and Harlon C. 29 a band musician.
In 1930 Denver, Mary is widowed, with Alma 61, Elmer 60 and Leroy 44.
They're next to Dennis Long's family.

In 1940 Denver, Mary A. Walker is widowed, 91, son Elmer 68, daughter Alma 70, daughter Louise W. Kelm 65 widowed, son Leroy F. 54.

Harlan Carr Walker was born January 8, 1891 at Beloit Kansas, working for Alexander Film Company in COlorado Springs.
He registered for WWII with Mary Walker of 141 West Irvington Place in Denver as his reference.
That Irvington Place address is the same one that Ingaby (Carr) Williams had in 1922.

Harlan died March 6, 1985 - having enlisted May 1917 and released April 1919.

In 1920 Kit Carson County, Charles A. Hunter is 48, Nellie E. 47, farming. They're next to William F. Walker 47, single.

In 1930 Kit Carson County, Charles and Nellie are both 57.

In 1940 Kit Carson County, Nellie is 68, widowed, with Charles Hunter 67 also widowed and Charles' mother Angeline Weaver 89, widowed.
Angeline Hunter was widowed in 1880 Wapello County, Iowa, 30, with Luella 11, Dora 10, and Charlie 8.
Angeline was in Kit Carson County in 1900, born April 1850 in Iowa, married one year to William A. Weaver born June 1835 in Indiana. Angeline's daugher Aora M. Christoper born March 1870 in Iowa is with them.

Nellie, born October 9, 1871, died September 1967, last residence Denver.

Dora M. Hunter married Edward Christopher on April 19, 1899, recorded in Arapahoe County.
In 1910 she's the postmaster in Cope, 40, with Joseph H. 9 and Helen M. 7. She's in Denver in 1920, 49, with Joseph H. 19 and Helen 16.

Helen E. Christopher married Leslie H. "Rels" on March 6, 1922, recorded in Arapahoe County.

In 1940 Denver, Joseph is 39, Florence 31, Billie 10, Joseph 5. Dora, 70, is with them.
So is Helen Rees, 37, with Myron 8.

Dora Christopher 1870-1955 is buried in Denver. Anderson M. Hunter 1830-1873 is buried in Wapello County, Iowa, # 24241374, and Angeline Weaver 1850-1941 is buried in Seibert,

Joseph H. Christopher 1900-1943 is buried in Denver # 53757766.

Helen E. Christopher married Leslie H. "Rels" on March 6, 1922, recorded in Arapahoe County.

Helen E. Bonnelle 1903-1994 is buried in Denver # 53757702, dying in Sacramento, California January 18, 1994.
Myron Rees, born November 4, 1931, died April 18, 1984 in Contra Costa County. He's buried in Lafayette # 7932284, with Lee Rees 1929-1992.
