Gideon married Sophia E. Perry. Edwin Jerome was born May 8, 1861, married Anna Lamar, George Wesley born December 1864 married Emma Rodebiller.
Sarah Elizabeth born January 1866 married a Green and then Burt Courter. On June 7, 1895, in Isabella COunty, Michigan, Bert Courter 22 and Libbie Green, 24, both born in Ohio, married. Her parents were Jerome Eccles.. and Maria Wade.

In 1850 Fulton County, Ohio, Joseph is 23, Martha 26, Emma 1.

In 1870 Fulton County, Edwin J. is 52, Maria A. 45, Mary M. 16, Edwin J. 9, Wesley H. 6, Elizabeth 4, and Gideon 20 is a railroad brakeman..

December 19, 1878 Tiffin (Ohio) Tribune, Kansas neighborhood items "J.S> Eccleston is on the sick list, with bilious fever and rheumatism."

J.S. Eccleston and Martha C. Michaels had Melissa May Eccleston on May 31, 1880 in Liberty Township, Seneca County, Ohio.

In 1880 Seneca County, Joseph S. is 33, Martha C. 37, Emma C. 11, and Mallisa M. one month.

In 1880 Fulton County, Jerome is 64, Mariah 55, Edwin 19, Wesley M. 16, and Libbie E. 14.

Jay B. Eccleston's WWII registration said he was born January 31, 1885 at Akron, Ohio.

The 1890 Veterans schedule of Hancock County, Ohio has Joseph servint as a private in the 85th Ohio and a sergeant in the 86th Ohio.

In 1900 Polk County, Missouri, Joseph S. is farming, born May 1844 in Ohio, married 34 years to Martha C. Feb 1841 Ohio. She's had sisix kids, three living.
May L. is 20, Jay B. 16.

Martha's will, probated in Polk County on March 2, 1909, said she was leaving her husband Joseph a 40 acres, the remainder in fee to children J.B. Eccleston and May M. Watt.

Margaret might have been in Polk County, Missouri in 1880, 14, born in Missouri, with parents George 59 and Nancy H. 39. Napoleon B. is 17, Margaret E. 14, John W. 13, Sarah Catherine 9, Samuel W. 7, and Elverda R. J. 4.

But there's another Margaret E. Hayden in Pike County, Missouri in 1880. Basil W. is 47, Frances A. 45, William R. 26, Samuel J. 24, hannah J. 19, Francis A. 22, aMargaret E. 15, and Hugh 6.

In 1900 Pike County, Missouri, Margaret E. Hayden is 34, born in Missouri, with brother William N. 46 and mother Frances J. 66, all born in Missouri.

Joseph S. Eccleston, age 72, married Margaret E. Hayden, 46 in Seibert on April 23, 1911.
Margaret claimed two quarters in sections 2 and 3, 6S, 48W in 1912.

Also in 1912, Joseph, of Carey, Colorado, was a witness for the claim of Charles Gibson for land in 5S 48W. uma COunty.

In 1915 Meade County, J.S. Eccleston is 75, M.E. 52, neither with occupations.

Joseph 1844-1916 is buried in Meade County - # 32486327.
The Meade newspaper of August 3, 1916 reported that the county paid R.E> Thomas $50.00 for the burial of soldier J.S. Eccleston.

On February 17, 1917 in Meade County, Margaret married Oliver P. Hayes, 1849-1922, who was living with his first wife Sarah Hayes 1853-1916 in Meade County in 1915.
Oliver 70 born in Iowa and Margaret E. 56 are in Meade County in 1920.
This Oliver died in 1922, "at Fowler Kansas of diabetes." buried in Powieshek County Iowa with his first wife Sarah Land.

In Meade County on January 12, 1928, Oliver Hayes married Ester V. Currier.

Clara Emma (Eccleston) Perdue 1868-1966 is buried in Vinita, Oklahoma , with John F. Perdue 1861-1938.


Mae Eccleston Watt - 1880-1950 is buried in Meade County, Kansas # 32578010, with Clida Watt 1884-1945.

In 1915 Gray County, Kansas, J. B. Ecceleston is 30, Maud 31, Edwin 10, Martha 8, Wilma 5, Vivian 2, and Eula one month.

J.B. Eccleston 1885-1966 is buried in Dodge City, Kansas, with Maud E. (Pavey) Eccleston 1884-1970.
Martha Edna Nichols, 88, died July 14, 1995, at Minneola Nursing Home. She was born March 1, 1907, near Fowler, the daughter of J.B. and Maud Pavey Eccleston. A lifetime Fowler-area resident, she was a homemaker. She was a member of First Christian Church, and she was a Past Noble Grand of Rebekah Lodge No. 406, both at Fowler. On Sept. 30, 1926, she married Clarence Nichols at Dodge City. He died Oct. 17,1987. Survivors include: a son, A. Thayne, Scott City; five daughters, Phyllis Krisle and Karen Nichols, both of Fowler, Donna Nichols, Dodge City, Cleora Duvall, Ashland, and Sharron Johnston, Derby; two brothers, Thurman Eccleston, Hot Springs Village, Ark., and Aaron Eccleston, Fowler; two sisters Wilma Meyer, Fowler, and Eula Chipman, Dodge City; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and two step-great-great grandchildren. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church, Fowler, with Chet Mendenhall presiding. There will be no public visitation. Burial will be in Fowler Cemetery.
