In 1895 Lawrence Kansas, Charley Trainer is 5, born in Kansas, with Bernard 48 a painter and Annie 40, both born in Pennsylvania. Charoline 17 and Martie 15 were born in Pennsylvania, Harry 11 in Virginia, Bernard 8, Charley 5,a nd Clyde 1 in Kansas.
They're in Lawrence in 1900, Bernard widowed, born January 1846 in Pennsylvania, Harry R. July 1883 in West Virginia, Barney L. Sept 1886 an Charles W. Oct 1889 and Clyde October 1893 in Kansas. Caroline E. McBeath is 22, married, with Harriet A. 4and Ruth 1.
In 1900 Lawrence, Kansas, Huston Nesbitt is farming, born June 1846 in Ohio, with Mariah J. July 1850 Canada. Margaret August 1876, Charles R. Sept 1884, and Tillie O. July 1890 were all born in Kansas.
1901 Lawrence "Houston Nesbitt of Jefferson county, one of the compositors of the Lawrence Daily Tribune of 1864, left for Buffalo Friday to be gone thirty days. Mr. Nesbitt owns a farm on the north side and has been successful. This is his first visit east"
July 1905 " The death of Miss Margaret Nesbitt which occurred today at 1 o'clock, takes away another of Lawrence's old settlers. She was 70 years old and has livedjin north Lawrence for a good many years. She was a sister of Mr. Houston Nesbitt and since the flood has made her home with him. Her health has been falling for some time, the beginning of her poor health commencing at the time of the flood where she remained at the home in north Larwence with ene of the children in the family who was very ill and could not be moved to this side of the river. Since then she has not been well."
In 1910 Lawrence, Maria J. Nesbitt is 59, widowed, born in Canada, with daugther Margaret A. 33 and Tillie O. 19, both born in Kansas.
In 1910 Lawrence, Bernard , Barney, 21, Charles 19, and Clyde 16
are all laborers or painters. Caroline McBeth is still with them, married but no spouse, Hattie 14, Ruth 11, and Rachel 6 McBeth.
October 5, 1910 "Mrs. Maria J. Nesbett has issued invitations for the marriage of her daughter Tillie to Mr. Charles W. Traynor, on Wednesday, October 12 at 8 o'clock at her home in North Lawrence."
Charles William Traynor, age 21, married Tilie Nesbit, 20, in Lawrence Kansas on October 12, 1910.

July 5, 1911 "Mrs. Maria J. Nesbitt died at the home of her son,
Robert Nesbitt, in North Lawrence at 5 o'clock Tuesday evening,
of cancer of the stomach, after a long and painful illness. Mrs. Nesbitt,
whose maiden name was Jackson, was born at Hepsler, Canada, July 1st, 1850,
and came to Kansas, where she was the....the printing business, and they lived in Grant township on the farm until Mr. Nesbitt's death. The widow has since resided there until she was taken to her son's home when she became very ill. Three children survive,
Margaret, Robert and Tillie, the latter the wife of Mr. Charles Traynor.
The burial will be in the family lot in Oak Bill cemetery on Thursday.
The funeral will be at the late home of the deceased on north Kansas
avenue at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow, Thursday afternoon."

In 1940 they're in Long Beach, California. Charles is a pipe layer for sewer construction, Robert washes cars, Charles a printer, Clyde a gardener, Arthur a printer
helper. Jean is in school.
He registered for WWII in Long Beach, owning a painting and papering business.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Willye; two daughters, Debbie Traynor and Carolyn Henton and husband Dan; two grandchildren, Danny and Kellye. Graveside Services at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Gate #17, Friday, June 30, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. Vista Lawn. Masonic Lodge in charge of services.

In 1920 Robert and Clara are in Denver, where he's an auto mechanic. Clyde Traynor, 26, is a boarder, born in Kansas.
1921 Lawrence "Mrs. Robert Nesbitt returned to her home in Denver Friday after being
here nine weeks taking care of her sister Emma. We extend our sympathy to Mrs. Nesbitt and her mother and father
for their faithful work and tender care of their sister and daughter, Emma."
They're in Long Beach, California in 1930, where Robert is an electrician. Lois A. 7 was born in Kansas, cousin Edward Whitcomb 37 born in Colorado is with them, a mechanic.
One tree said Alberta Clara (Pine) Nesbitt died in 1930 in Los Angeles. that might be the Clara Nesbitt, age 44, dysing September 14, 1930 in Los Angeles County.

He was born September 20, 1884 at Lawrence Kansas.
1949 Bakersfield, California "The electrical crew of the -Kieh- field Oil Corporation held a banquet at the Crystal Inn recently in honor of the'retiring foreman, Robert C. Nesbitt, who has been foreman of this division for the past 10 Tears. The group presented him with a pair of binoculars. Mr. Nesbitt, who plans to spend the summer months camping and fishing in various parts of the state, will make a trip in the fall to Kansas, his native state, and visit friends in Colorado. His sister-will accompany him on the trip."
Robert died June 28, 1966 in Los Angeles County, mother's maiden name Jackson.

In 1940 Long Beach, Lois is 17, the niece of Charles Traynor, 50 and Tillie 49, and their six kids ages 13 to 26.
Lois Adelle Macewich 1922-2001 # 165330086 is buried in Bakersfield, California, daughter of Robert Nesbitt and Alberta Pine.
Graveside services for Carol Ann Sweaney-Carpenter, 64, of Gainesville,
were held Friday, Jan. 4, 2008 at Gainesville Cemetery, Ozark County, Missouri, with Halbert Smith
officiating.
Carol died Jan. 1, 2008, at Baxter Regional Medical Center inMountain
Home, Ark. She was born July 11, 1943, in Long Beach, Calif., the daughter
of Phil and Lois Macewich of Taft, Calif.
Carol lived in Taft during her childhood years and early adult life. She
then ventured on to live in many new places with her family, including
Alaska, Lake Isabella, Calif., and then Missouri, where she settled with
husband Max Carpenter, previously of Taft. She loved camping, hiking,
antiquing and was a beautician by trade. She also was interested in the
Native American Culture.
She is survived by one son, Roger Sweaney, and daughter-in-law, Melissa,
of Bakersfield, Calif.; one daughter, Kiah Pues, and son-in-law, Steven,
of Lake Isabella, Calif.; three sisters, Phyllis Nunes, Janet and husband,
Rick Hawkins, of Taft, Calif.; and Mary Jo and husband, Larry Joyner, of
Wofford Heights, Calif; five grandchildren: Brennon, Dylan and Devin Pues
and Jordan and Parker Sweaney.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Randy Sweaney, of Taft,
Calif., and her parents.
