December 1950 "Miss Mable 'Sue' Collette, younges daught of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Collette of Kirk, and William Henry Ketchre Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ketcher of Vona, were married Deemer 15 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wise. Miss Marilyn Kechter, sister of the bridegrroom, was bridesmaid.

Born Sep 7, 1931 in Craig, CO, he was the son of Everett Guy Steven and Jessie Mae (Winkler)?Pound. He attended Antrim Schools and moved from?Stafford to St. John in 1969. He was a retired grain elevator manager in St. John previously working at Stafford CO-OP and a member of the St. John Lions Club and Kansas Livestock Assn. On May 19, 1950, he married Elsie (Allen) at Stafford. She preceded him in death on Nov 19, 2005.
Survivors include son, Donnie L Pound and wife Debra of St. John, daughter Maggie A. Metz and husband Terry of Garrison, ND, brother Richard Pound of Waikoloa Hawaii, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers: Paul, Cecil, Glenn and Donald; two sisters, Lois Gay and Ruby Pound; grandson Nicholas Pound and a great grandson, Jordan Nicholas Goldade.
