There's a Charles Wesley Woodward 1835-1904 buried in Denver, # 13472594, wtih Margeline Frances (Hatcher) Woodward 1837-1920.
In 1850 St. Lawrence County, New York, Alba Woodward is 67, Almia 60, with Wm. W. 28, Olive 32,and Charles W. 15.
In 1860 Nicollet County, Minnesota, Charles is a farm laborer, 25, Margeline M. F. 21, and Clara six months.
In 1870 Nicollet County, Minnesota, he's a carpenter, 35, born in New York, with Margeline 33 Virginia. Clara is 10, Mary 9, Florence 6, Horace 4, and Cora 1.
Eliza Hatcher 17 born in Virginia is with them.
He was a postmaster in 1880 Furnas County, Nebraska, 45, with Margiline 43, Jenne 18, Florence 16, Horace 15, Cora 9, and Irving B. 3.
The four oldest were born in Minnesota, Irving in Nebraska.
In 1900 Denver, Charles is a carpenter, born April 1837, married 41 years to Margeline Sept 1837. She's had eight kids, five living.
Irving Dec 1876 and William April 1885 were born in Nebraska.
Clara Almira (Woodward) Scofield was with James in 1880 Furnas County, Nebraska, and is buried in Denver # 132572727.
"Cora E. Woodward, a well known and highly esteemed young lady of this city, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. C. W. Woodward, died at her home in South Denver Saturday, January 26, 1895 after a short illness that terminated very peacefully. She came to Denver from Arapahoe, Neb., with her parents about four years ago, was a member of the South Broadway Christian Church and her death was a sad blow to her family and many sincere friends. The funeral service, conducted by Rev. W. S. Priest of the South Broadway Church, was held at the residence and the remains laid to rest in Fairmount Cemetery.
