One Boecker descendant wrote "Tom & Lena Dixson - Tom was my father's nephew.

Emile Ernestine Wilhelmine (Boecker) Kielbeck, 1867-1900 married # 1 Thomas Dickson, and had Thomas Heinrich Johann Dixson 1888-1961 and Evaline Dixson Burgener 1889-1962, then married Hermann Kielbeck 1859 - , per # 69347461.
"Holbrook was the scene of a terrible accident last night about 7:15, when a lone engine, west bound, struck a wagon at the Crossing, killing four of the occupants, Mrs. H. Keilbeck, Mrs. C. Bartenbach, the 12 year old girl of Mrs. F. Heman, and Mrs. Keilbeck's child; an adopted son of C. Bartenbach and their infant escaping death. One of the horses was also killed. The party had been in Holbrook on their way home from Heman's, and although Engineer Stark whistled and rang the bell vigerously it was too late. After the engine had been stopped he found the boy and baby alive on the engine pilot, and brought them back to the crossing. He was greatly affected by the awful work of his engine and wept like a child. Coroner Hopping is holding an inquest as we go to press. (The dead were: Ernestine (Boecker) Kielbeck and her son Herman; Mrs. Lottie Bartenbach, a sister of Herman Kielbeck; and Pauline Heman."

"Carl Bartenbeck had come to the Kielbeck home (08 Oct 1900) and kicked in the door panel and was shooting his rifle into the house. Herman Kielbeck shot through the door, killing Carl instantly. Ernestine and Lottie Bartenbach had gone to the Heman's to get Pauline to stay with Mrs. Bartenbach.) "

So the Thomas Kielbeck in 1900 Furnas County, born April 1888 is likely Thomas Dixson. Herman Kielbeck was born August 1859 in Germany, married 7 years to Ernestine Nov 1867 Germany. They hae Herman nine months. Ernestine has had six kids, two living.

On the same page in 1900 Furnas County are the William and Martha Davis familiy, with seven kids.

In 1900 Frontier COunty, Charles Schroeder born 1856 in Germany, maried 15 years to Mary B. March 1865 Germany, have Anna Janary 1896, Elizabeth Nov 1890, Amelia May 1893, and Walter Dec 1891.
On February 24, 1909 in Frontier County, Nebraska, Thomas H. Dixson married Elizabeth Schroeder, a sister of Mrs. Ben Degering, Amelia Schroeder.

In June 1917 Thomas Henry Dixson registered for WWI, with an address of Orafino, Nebraska, born at Holbrook, Nebraska April 14, 1888, farming, with a wife and three children, and had a crippled arm.

They might have been traveling, and missed the 1920 census...

In 1927 Frontier County, in the Cambridge section, Mrs. Thomas Dixson had John 17, Eva 14, Lewis 10, Eddie 9, and Richard 4. in the school census.

In 1930 Frontier County, Thomas is 41, Elizabeth 39, John M. 19, Eva R. 16, Louis 14, Edward 12, Richard 7, and Calvin 1, all kids born in Nebraska.

"The first officers of the new St. Paul's Lutheran Church in 1931 were: Thomas Dixson, chairman; August Luhmann, secretary; and Herman Haussler, treasurer. "

"Mary Ann Dixson, 74, Atwood, died Wednesday, June 9, 1993, at the Rawlins County Hospital, Atwood. Mrs. Dixson was born Mary Ann Max on June 29, 1918, in Frontier County, Neb., and was a resident of Atwood since 1972. She was a homemaker, a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women Missionary League, both of Atwood. Survivors include her husband, John M. of the home; three daughters, Janet Loper of Lincoln, Neb., Rhodila House of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jean Germer of Junction City; two sons, Donald of Trenton, Neb., and Kenneth of Page, Ariz.; her mother, Mildred Max of Cambridge, Neb.; a brother, Eldon Max of Kemp, Texas; two sisters, Luella Teter of Arvada, Colo., and Margaret Johnson of Cambridge; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Atwood, the Rev. Allen C. Hoger officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Fairview Cemetery, Cambridge, Neb. "

Johann "John" Michael Dixson, 93, born June 27, 1910, in Frontier County, died Dec. 24, 2003, at 7:50 a.m., at Good Samaritan Center, Atwood, Kan. John is preceded in death by his loving wife Mary; a son Donald G. Dixson, an infant son; daughter, Ilene Marie Dixson; his brothers Louie Dixson, Ed Dixson, Calvin Dixson and Richard Dixson; and granddaughter Karen (Dixson) Haskell.

He was a longtime resident of Cambridge and Atwood. Survivors include son, Kenneth Dixson and wife Linda of Page, Ariz.; daughters, Jan Loper of Gardner, Kan., Rhodila House and husband Jim of Las Vegas, Nev., Jean Germer and husband, Jim of Gardner, Kan.; daughter-in-laws, Helen Dixson of McCook and Betty Dixson of Trenton; sisters Eva Burns of Salina, Kan.; Dorothy Max of Kemp, Texas; grandchildren John Dixson and wife, Sandy of Kingwood, Texas, Beverly Dixson of Page, Ariz., Kenneth Dixson Jr. of Las Vegas, Nev., Lisa House and husband, Philip of Las Vegas, Nev., Lisa Brown of Bonner Springs, Kan., Thomas Brown and wife, Opal of Lenexa, Kan., Jessica (Germer) Semon and husband, Aaron of Olathe, Kan., Austin Germer of Gardner, Kan.; great-grandchildren, Destiny Dixson, Kyle Haskell, Brad Haskell, Shawn Dixson, Aleisha Dixson, Devon Haywood Sofia Semon and Taya Semon.

Memorial Services were Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, in Atwood. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, Cambridge. Memorials may be left at the church to assist the family with funeral expenses. The family of John Dixson sincerely appreciate everyone's thoughtfulness.

Louis Edward Dixson 1915-2002 is buried in Furnas County # 79678109, with Thelma (Campbell) Dixson 1919-2011.

Louie E. Dixson, 85, died Saturday (Dec. 7, 2002) at the Cambridge Manor.

He was born Dec. 19, 1916, to Thomas H. and Elizabeth Marie (Schroeder) Dixson 14 miles northeast of Cambridge in Frontier County.

On Oct. 21, 1936, he married Thelma I. Campbell in Cambridge. He owned his own trucking company for 20 years. He then went to work for the Burlington Northern Railroad for seven years. On Sept. 13, 1955, he began work for the Kansas Nebraska Gas Company. He worked as a transmission foreman, walking the entire length of the gas line. He retired from the gas company in September of 1982. After retirement, he worked for the Lockenour Furniture Store delivering furniture. He assisted with funerals for Lockenour-Jones Mortuary until 1998.

He was a member of the Congregational Church and the Men's Club of Cambridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Edward, Richard and Calvin.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma of Cambridge; daughter, Dixie Lee and husband, Bill Simonton of Englewood, Colo.; two sisters, Eva Burns of Salina, Kan. and Dorothy Max of Kemp, Texas; and one brother, John Dixson of Atwood.


Edward H. Dixson 1917-1990 is buried in Evanston, Wyoming # 69605081, with Gladys 1919-2000.

Eva is buried in Salina, Kansas # 83625795
"Eva Ruth Burns, 92, Salina, died Monday, July 31, 2006.
Mrs. Burns was born Eva Ruth Dixon on Sept. 20, 1913, in Stratton, Colo. She was a housekeeper for Presbyterian Manor for 12 years, retiring in 1990.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1981; and a son, Jimmy, in 1962.
Survivors include a son, Carl of Salina; three daughters, Violet Woods of Florida, Betty Cunningham of Nebraska and Charlene Hinkson of Salina; a sister, Dorothy Max of Texas; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. "

Richard Charles Dixson was born January 31, 1923 at Cambridge, Nebraska, dying October 6, 1989.

Calvin G. Dixson was born February 11, 1929, and died December 18, 2001, last residence Henderson County, Texas.
