George was born March 23, 1835 in Orange County, New York. He died March 30, 1891 and is buried at Armstrong Grove Cemetery.
Mary was born June 25, 1842 in Delaware County, New York. She died August 24, 1932 in St. Paul, MN and is buried at Armstrong Grove Cemetery.
The couple had six children: Elizabeth, Frank, Albert, Grace, Ruth, and Glenn. Frank, Albert, and Grace are also buried at Armstrong Grove Cemetery.
Supposedly, Mary had a sister, Ruth, in the area as well. She was married to Cornelius Cannon.

"Mrs. Grace Inman, who had been sick for the past two weeks, passed away Sunday, Dec. 5, 1915 at 8:20 o'clock at the home of Mr. George Inman. Her mother and one brother were at her side during the last days of her illness.
Grace Lillian [sic] Murray was born in Ogle County, Illinois October 28, 1874. She came to Iowa with her parents when she was seven years of age. Grace united with the Presbyterian Church in Armstrong, Emmet County. She taught in the public schools in Emmet County very successfully for eleven years. She was united in marriage to Earl E. Inman November 24, 1904. She then moved with her husband to Colorado, where they resided for five years. They came to Shellsburg about a year ago. Mrs. Inman was 41 years 1 month and 7 days of age. She was a dutiful and loving daughter, a loving wife and mother, and a true friend. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, a little daughter, Doratha [sic], her aged mother, two sisters and three brothers, and many friends. Remains were laid to rest beside her father in the cemetery at Armstrong. The funeral was held at the Geo. Armstrong residence Tuesday afternoon. Her mother, Mrs. Murray, of St. Paul, and a brother from Armstrong and two sisters were present at the funeral. Rev. Geo. Lindsay conducted the services.

Edwin Earl Inman, born March 26, 1879 at Manley, Iowa, died Nov 14, 1941.
Edwin registered for WWI in Minneapolis, a railroad policeman, nearest relative Mrs. Nancy Inman of the same address.
In 1934, when Aura Philip Canon died in Iowa, attending his funeral was Miss Dorothy Inman of Minneapolis - but a note says "Miss Dorothy Inman was actually married at that time to Howard Engelmann and was from St. Paul, Minnesota."
Dorothy Alice Inman was born August 3, 1913 in Wright County, Minnesota, and died Nov 14, 1977, buried in Roselawn Cemetery, Ramsey County, Minnesota # 78747103. Howard Engelmann, dying Nov 12, 1979, is also there # 7847104.

In 1920 St. Paul, Minnesota, Mry is 76, widowed, and son Albert S. 47 is with her, a grade school teacher.
Mary is in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1930, widowed 88, with son Albert S. 58 a principal at a public school. her granddaughter Dorothy Inman 17 iw with them.
One tree said Mary Melissa Wood Murray was born June 1842 in Sullivan County, New York, and died August 24, 1932 in St. Paul Minnesota.
In 1940 St. Paul, Howard and Dorothy Engelman are living with her uncle Albert, with marjorie Engelmann 5.
Ruth Maude Murray, per one tree, was born June 20, 1880 in Ogle Couty, Illinois, and died June 16, 1943 in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Charles Robert Hardin, per one tree, was born April 1883 in Missouri, and died Feb 1973 in Maryville, Missouri.
