In 1895 Sioux City, Jane E. Adams is single, 35 born in Pennsylvania, parents born in New York.
(George B. Adams had married Minnie J. Freyman in Woodbury County July 19, 1895, and in 1900 is a boot and shoe merchant.
Also in Woodbury County in 1900, in a boarding house are Jennie E. Adams March 1869 - a cashier in an oil warehouse, Arch F. Adams Aug 1873, a bookkeeper, and Flora A. Adamas Feb 1878 a bookkeeper, all three born in Pennsylvania.
1898 Valentine, Nebraska "W.D. Selder, one of Sioux City's most prominent bank officials was in town the past week looking after his business interests. Mr. Selder is one of the Selder Bros who run a large cattle ranch near Merriman."

In 1901 W.D. Selder is the cashier for the Stock Growers Bank of Burlington, Colorado.
In 1912 W.D. Selder was president of the Ankenny Linseed Oil Company, with headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa.

In 1908 Mrs. Jane Adams Selder was the only one practicing Christian Science in Burlington.
William cash-claimed 160 acres in sections 10, 27, and 28, 6S 44W in 1908.
In 1910 Burlington, Kit Carson County, William is a bank cashier, 42, born in Iowa, with Jane A. 40 Pennsylvania.
1911 "Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Selder left Tuesday morning for Denver from which place they go to Sioux City Iowa and from there they start for California where they will spend the winter visiting places of interest."
1910 Burlington "B.H. Brooks and family have moved into the house recently purchased by him from Mrs. W.D. Selder."
Also in 1910, W.D. Selder resigned as member of the Burlington city council.
1910 "Mrs. Adaline Selder of Rushville, Nebraska spent a few days last week as the guest of her son banker W.D. Selder."


In 1910 H.G. Weare and W.D. Selder advertise for the Stock Growers Bank of Burlington.
In 1920 Jane E. Adams Selder of Burlington, Colorado, published a Helps to Bible Study, Proper Names and their Definitons, from Cruden's Concordance .
In 1920 they're in Los Angeles 51 and 50 - no occupation. (But in the 1922 University of Colorado advisory board he's listed with a Burlington address).
1931 Spearfish, South Dakota "W.D. Selder of Santa Monica, California, who has been visiting the H.G. Weare family for several days, left yesterday for his home.


In 1930 Los Angeles County, they have financial investments, and in 1940 no occupation.
Jane Selder, born March 6, 1868 in Pennsylvania, mother Whalen, father Adams, died April 18, 1948 in Los Angeles County.
