As a toddler, Bud moved with his family to Southern California. He grew up in San Diego and attended trade school as a young man. He began a career in the steel industry by first working for the National Steel and Shipbuilding Co. in San Diego. Bud prized his automobiles and was respected for the immaculate way he kept the vehicles inside and out. He cherished his 1969 Green Mach I and was a Ford Man all the way! He also enjoyed 49ers Football, NASCAR and NHRA racing.
