Wilhelmina Wolf is 13 in 1870 Covington, Kentucky, with Michael Frank 43 and Wilhelmina Frank 39. Albert Frank is 9. Richard Wolf is 19, Louis 16o, and Paulina 14.
August proved up a quarter in 17, 6S 44W in 1894. He had a record of a timber application in 7S 46W, but it wasn't completed under his name.

In 1910 Kit Carson County, August 64, born in Germany, married 34 years to Minnie 57 Ohio. Edward is 17 Henry 20.

August 1852-1919 is buried in Burlington, # 42331300. Henry August Fanselau registered for WWI in Burlington, born Feb 28, 1890 at Burlington, farming, with a wife and two children.

FindaGrave # 42331480 said Andrew and Wilhelmena Wolf were married July 17, 1876 at Philadelpha, Pennsylvania.
August Fanselau, whose daughter Katherina Louisa Fanselau, born 1877 in Philadelphia, married Gottlieb Bauder in 1897, and died in Burlington 1957.
August was in Philadelphia in 1880, 26, married to Wilhelmina 22, with Katharine 2 and Ida Bertha one month.
In 1910 Kit Carson County, Minnie F. is 28, Frederick Bauder 33, with Carel F. 6, Rossiana 5, Ebbert 4, and Alice three months.

Edward John Fanselau registered for WWI in Cheyenne Wells, single, born April 23, 1893 at Burlington, farming.
Edward is still single in 1920 Cheyenne County, Colorado, 26, and his widowed mother Minnie 61 born in Ohio is with hi,.
In 1930 Cheyenne County, Edward is 36, married to Nancy E. 37, with Ruth E. 8, Irvin E. 7, Ester M. 4, and mother Minnie K. "Fenselau" 78.

In 1940 Kit Carson County, Edward is 46, married to Nancy E. 47, Kansas. Ruth E. 18, Irvin E. 17, Esther M. 14, and Gordon C. 10 were all born in Colorado.
Nancy E. Hartzler was in Flagler precinct, Kit Carson County in 1920, 27, a school teacher, living with widowed farmer Alfred J. Hartzler, 60.
Alfred J. Hartzler 1859-1939 is buried in Sherman County, Kansas # 16613283.
So is Melissa Hartzler 1862-1899 # 16613352.
In 1959 Denver, Edward J. (Nancy E) Fanselau is a laborer for Shwayder Brothers, and they live at 2225 W. 29th Avenue.
Irvin E. (Clarice) is a social worker for Arapahoe County, and they live at 1858 S. Hazel Ct.
Ervin E. Fanselau, WWII Army Corporal, 1922-2002 is buried in Fort Logan.

On January 22, 2014 our most beloved Mother, Ester Gabriel, went Home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ and the many of our other loved ones who have passed over before her.
She was born Ester Marie Fanselau on June 4, 1925 in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado to Edward John Fanselau and Nancy Eleanor (Hartzler) Fanselau. Her father's farm was about 4 miles north of Cheyenne Wells where she enjoyed her early years. Her family then moved to her grandfather's (Alford Jerome Hartzler) farm just east of Flagler , Colorado where she lived with her older sister Ruth Eleanor (Fanselau) Baumer, her older brother Ervin Edward Fanselau, and her younger brother Gordon Everett Fanselau. Ester is the third generation of our family in Colordo as her grandfather August Fanselau and grandmother Willamina Katharina Fanselau had moved to Denver , Colorado in 1879 by train from Philadelphia , Pennsylvania . They later homesteded near Yale, Colorado which was located about fifteen miles north and east of Bethune, Colorado. After Ester graduated from Flagler High School in 1942 she moved to Denver , Colorado where she worked supporting the war effort. Ester birthed four children; Alan C. ( York ) Gabriel, Irving Henery Gabriel, Vernor Gabriel, and Irene (Garbriel) Randell. She was married to Sage Gabriel October 27, 1952 and they were together for twenty-five years. Sage served in the Coast Guard during WWII and in the Air Force during the Korean conflict. They lived in several places while he was in the military and they finally settled in Florida where Ester worked for and retired from the State of Florida . Ester moved back to Colorado and enjoyed many years of retirement with the last thirteen years here in Canon City at Gabriel's Crossing mobile home park. Ester is survived by her children, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ester lived her last year at the Progressive Care Center where she was lovingly cared for by the dedicated staff who will ever enjoy the deep felt gratitude of our family. Mom, your love will always be in our hearts, we miss you and know that you are loved.

Oklahoma City -2001

FANSELAU Gordon Everett, born in Cheyenne Wells, CO in 1930 on April 19. He was preceded by his father, Edward John Fanselau; his mother, Nancy Eleanor (Hartzler) Fanselau, of Denver, CO; his older sister, Ruth Eleanor Baumer, of Fairbanks, AK; his first wife, Juanita Mae (Booth), of Midwest City, OK; and his second wife, Linda Lou (Long), of Yukon, OK. Gordon is survived by his son, Jonathan Edward Fanselau; his daughter-in-law, Julie Elizabeth (West), of Edmond, OK; grandson, Jason Everett Fanselau, of Richardson, TX; granddaughter, Jessica Elisa Fanselau, of Norman, OK; older brother, Ervin Edward Fanselau, of Denver CO; older sister, Ester Marie (Gabriel), of Fort Pierce, FL; and many loving nieces and nephews. Gone but not forgotten, Gordon was raised on a farm in Cheyenne Wells, CO by his Lutheran family. The work was very hard especially when his older brother went to serve in WW II. While growing up, he loved hunting, fishing, baseball, and bowling. At an early age, Gordon enlisted in the Air Force and later retired as a Senior Master Sergeant from the Oklahoma Air National Guard. While serving, he obtained an associate degree and an enormous amount of college credits. Gordon's career in the National Guard 137th Air-lift wing was notable for such events as participating in an Air Force fire-power demonstration for President Kennedy, providing radio communications for the President and his White House staff, transporting the Governor of Oklahoma, and bringing the steering wheel of the USS Oklahoma back to Oklahoma. Gordon flew thousands of hours of other sorties. After his Air Force retirement, Gordon worked as a letter carrier for the Post Office and later for the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Gordon loved working for the Boy Scouts of America and received appointments for leadership in the organization. Gordon always had an American flag in his vehicles. The United States and Oklahoma has lost a true patriarch, and I have lost my father and best friend. Services are graveside, 10:00 AM, Sat., Nov. 24, 2001 at Sunny Lane Cemetery.

Ruth Eleanor Fanselau was born April 26, 1929 at Cheyenne Wells to Edward and Nancy, and died August 17, 1988 in Longview, Washington, residence Cowlitz, Washington.
In 1947 Denver Paul M. Stockton (Ruth E) is an installer for Western Electric.
She was Ruth Eleanor Fanselau in 1943, Ruth E. Stockton in 1966, and Ruth E. Baumer in 1988.
"Paul Martell Stockton was born 19 October 1921 in Denver, Denver Co., Colorado and died 11 December 1999 in Yuma, Yuma Co., Arizona. His parents were Roscoe and Pansy Stockton. Paul joined the service a few months after his brother during World War II and was a pilot for a while in the service. After he got out, he worked at an archery shop selling archery equipment and then later became a Denver City Policeman for twenty-five years. He married Ruth Fanselau 22 March 1943 in Denver, Colorado. They had three children, Martha, Nancy, and Jan all born in Denver Colorado."
"Nancy Wanita Stockton and Danny Lane Bernhardt were married in 1967 in Fairbanks, Fairbanks North S., Alaska. Danny Lane Bernhardt was born in 1948 in Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio."

"David Lee Baumer, was born on the 9th day of July, 1930. Charles Edward Baumer and Fern Sophronia Conrad, who both preceded him in death. He was married to Ruth Eleanor Fanselau Stockton. Baumer was married for 34 years.
Ruth passed away in 1988. He married Nancy C. Houten-Baumer in 1997 in Anchorage, Alaska.
David spent time in the Air Force from 1951 thru 1959. After his discharge he became a construction painter in 1966. He moved to Fairbanks, Alaska where he worked for Wien AK Airlines until his retirement in 1985.
He then moved to Longview where he enjoyed spending
his time with family and friends. He also enjoyed playing music and time spent on his computer.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Eugene Baumer; and two sisters, Lillie Irene Zerbe and Maydie Marie Wallace.
David is survived by his five children, Martha Marie Lynn of Lacey, Wash., Nancy Wanita Bernhardt of Fairbanks, Alaska, Jan David Baumer of Kelso, Kathleen Fern Porter of Longview and Timothy Lee Baumer of Kanai, Alaska; four step-children, Doug Hayes of Vancouver, Reggie A. Hayes of Longview, Client Hayes of Vancouver, Timberley Edmonds of Seattle; sister, Mildred Ann Wells of Groove, Oklahoma; eight in-laws; twenty grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. today at Columbia Funeral Chapel with Lonnie Hamby officiating. "
