PATTERSON, Cora married 6 Feb 1905 in Decatur County, Kansas a groom named James Melvin Taylor.
In 1905 Decatur County, James 21 and Cora 20 are living with Lemuel I. 60 and Jane 58, with Henry I. 28.

In 1910 Mesa County, Colorado, James Taylor is doing odd jobs, 26, with Cora 25, and Mildred 2, all born in Kansas.
Cora L. Taylor 1882-1917 is buried in Traer Cemetry, per # 69904435.

Lemuel J. Taylor 65, born in Indiana, is farming in Mesa County in 1910, second marriage to Jayne 63, born in Illinois. She's a carpet weaver.

James cash-claimed 71 acres on the Yuma county line in 5, 6 South, 43W - with some in section 31 of 5 1/2 south 43 W in 1920. He's probably the one proved inup 304 acres in 31 and 32 of 5 1/2 South 43W in 1919.
In 1920 Kit Carson County, James M. Taylor is widowed, 35, born in Kansas. Mildred 12 in Kansas, Frances M. 7 Colorado, Luretta J. 5 Colorado, and James N. 2, Colorado.

Maybe James is the one in Denver in 1940, a street cleaner, 56 born in Kansas, with Myrtle 54 Nebraska and Emma L. 18, Colorado. They all were in Denver in 1935.
One tree said James died in 1955 - Denver area. The April 29, 1955 Grand Junction Colorado obituary said he was born Dec 23, 1868 and died April 20, 1955, marriages Cora Patterson and Myrtle Allen.

In 1930 Denver, Myrtle was 44, married at 35 but no spouse, living with mother Emma A. 71, and Emma's son Austin 31, Nebraska. Myrtle has Emma 8 Colorado and Allen S. 6, Kansas.
