an Infantryman, was killed August 5, 1950. The Bend boy enlisted in the army in June, 1948, and was sent to Fort Ord, California for training."

She leaves two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte (Wally) Rodgers of Escondido, California and Margaret (Harry) Buckner of Lynnwood, Washington; two step- sons, Loy Brydon of Arizona and Lee Brydon of Montana; sister, Margaret Shellabarger of Phoenix, Arizona; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Brydon in 1987.
