Gustaf Daniel Saterberg, 6 South 43 West

Because of Duncan's service as a private in Gideon's Company, Georgia Militia, Cherokee Removal, his warrant was assigned to Gustaf Daniel Saterberg, who claimed a quarter in 24, 6 South, 43W in 1891.

One tree said Duncan was born in Scotland 1848, dying in 1838 His son Rodrick 1799-1860 is burid in Winston-Salem, NC. # 40439648.

In 1900 Denver, Gust Saterberg is a fireman in a smelter, born Sept 1869, Hulde Oct 1873 Sweden, with Alfred G. May 1897 and Walter H. Dec 1899 , both Colorado.

In 1910 Denver, Gustaf Saterberg is a laborer in a smelter, 41, with Hulda 33 Sweden, married 14 years. She's had five kids, three living - Evaline 8, Herbert 5, and Stanton 3 all born in Colorado. Two of their children might be the Herman W. Saterberg dying Dec 26, 1901, and "Guastf Saterberg" dying January 23, 1907, both interred at Riverside.

When Gustaf Satterberg arrived in New York from Gothenburg in 1937, he said he lived at 3420 W. 30th in Denver, and held a Certificat of Naturalization at District Court in Denver September 26, 1906.
Gustaf 1868-1948 is buried in Crown Hill # 88240318.
EVELYN
Evelyn Hulda Saterberg was born in Colorado March 18, 1902 to Gustaf D. Saterberg and Hulda Lindahl.
Evelyn married Carl Berglund Sept 2, 1922, recorded in Denver.

HERBERT
Herbert Axel Saterberg was born Oct 17, 1904 to Gustaf Daniel Saterbrg and Hulda Matila Lindahl>
Herbert A. Saterberg married Ethel Mae Cunningham Dec 1, 1928, recorded in Denver.

In 1938 Huron, South Dakota, Stanley is an office manager for Travelers Ins. Co, living with Wanda J. at 862 Frank Ave SE.
Wanda J. Saterberg 1904-1985 is buried in Morrison Colorado # 53915222.
Their son Ward 1934-2006 is buried in Morrison, # 53915223. One tree said Ward's wife was Phyllis Kay Ross 1940-2006. FindaGrave # 53915224 has her buried in Morrison, under the name "Satterberg".

"Stanley H. Saterberg, Jr., 79, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital. Born September 30, 1931 in Omaha, Neb., he had lived locally for the past 35 years. Stan was a Management Recruiter for more than 30 years, and worked for Management Recruiters prior to establishing his own company, Saterberg and Associates. Stan was an avid bowler, a sport he enjoyed along with his late wife, Carol. He took many relaxing trips to Reno and loved reading. Stan is survived by his children, Roger (Ghea) Saterberg of South Carolina, Allen (Kimm) Saterberg of Arvada, Colo. and Donna Saterberg of Denver, Colo.; his step-children, Ron (Tina) Beitz of Leveen, Ariz. and Jodi (Don) Burge of Salinas; his sister-in-law, Jan Ziessow of Carmel; his grandchildren, Brittany Burge, Nicole (Jeremy) Conny and Dionne and Ian Saterberg and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, in 2004. At his request, no services will be held. "
