June 13, 1912 "Marion Peugh and Charles Kreoger, of Morris, made final proof on their homesteads last Saturday.
Marion proved up a quarter in 29, 6 South, 43W in 1913.
"Leona's mother Minnie A Koons was first married to James Moore 22 Jan 1890. James Moore and his family lived in Bow Creek township in Phillips county in 1900. That census says Minnie was born in June 1874. Her parents are buried in the Greenwood cemetery, known as the Delmar cemetery."

"His obit says he was born 21 Oct 1856 and died 18 Jan 1927 in Downs, KS (Osborne county). On 21 Feb 1887 he married Mrs. Nora Lucas. She died in 1904 (In Iowa, implied). On 17 Dec 1919 he married Mrs. Minnie Moore. He leaves his wife of the home and a brother Charles Peugh in Iowa. Also unnamed nieces and nephews. His daughter Leona is not mentioned, living or dead."
