Pearl "Baynn" was born Oct 26, 1873 in Plymouth, Wayne County Michigan to Wm. A. Baynn and Celestia Byronn.
In 1880 Wayne County, Pearl 6, Elba 4, Georgia 11, and Allice 14 are with grandparents Orvin 56 Kingsley and Sarah 54.
Pearl "Boyn" married John Mesch October 2, 1891, recorded in O'Brien County, Iowa.
In 1895 Osceola County, Iowa John Mesch, 25, born in Johnson County, Iowa, Catholic, married to Pearl, 21 Michigan, Congregationalist, with Orrin 2, Berdie newborn, both in Osceola County.
John Mesch, born June 1870 in Iowa, is farming in Orange County, California in 1900, married 8 years to Pearl Oct 1873 Michigan. Orrin Dec 1892 Iowa, Christine June 1895 Iowa, Floyd Dec 1896 California and Otto June 1900 California.
1904 History of South Dakota
"William H. Bayne was married while living in Michigan, but his wife died
in California a few years ago. Her maiden name was C. A. Kingsley and
she bore him children as follows: Alice S., who lives in Sioux City,
Iowa; Georgia M., wife of John Humphrey, also of that place; Pearl, now
Mrs. John Meesh, of California, and Mrs. Ella E. Gay, whose home is in
California. In 1884 Mr. Bayne was married to Jennie F. Cool, of Grand
Detour, Illinois.
(Celestia C. Kingsley Berdine 1847-1899 is buried in Whittier California # 106706136.
In 1900, Albert F. Berdine, born May 1845, a widower, lived with his 10-year old son Albert Jr. in Fullerton, Orange County, California. His household included his father-in-law, Orrin Kingsley. The Los Angeles Times of 7 Feb 1901 reported in a listing of marriages licenses issued the previous day by the County Court Clerk: "Albert F. Berdine, age 55, a native of Illinois and a resident of La Habra, and Ellen Nellie Dawson, aged 40, a native of Virginia and a resident of Indianapolis, Ind."
(In 1900 Westminster, Orange County, California, Elsworth W. Gay born May 1870 in Illinois, married six years to Elva May 1873 Michigan, and they have three kids, all born in Iowa - so probably they married in Iowa.
Elba W. Gay, born May 9, 1876 in Michigan, died Sep 17, 1951 in Los Angeles, mother's name Berdine, father Bayne)
One family researcher wrote that no record of Pearl after 1905 could be found, and the assumption is that she died in California 1900-1905.
"John is in Osceola County in 1905, age 35, single. So is Willie, 2, born in California, and Otto, age 5, Caifornia, and Floyd age 7, California.
In 1911 Kit Carson County, John "Merch" was treasurer of school district # 38. Otto Bastian was president.
In 1915 Osceola County, a John Mesch, married, 45, does bridge work.
Orrin is also there, 22, a hired man, single. Celestia, 19, borni n Harrison County, is a hird girl.
Otto is 14, at school, Willie is 12 born in California. .
Orrin Kingsley Mesch, age 22, married Emily Henrietta Froh March 3, 1915 in Algona, Iowa.
Celestia Sarah Mesch, age 20, married Februrary 16, 1916 in O'Brien County Walter Adolf. Her father was John Mesch, mother not listed.
William, born 1901 in Fullerton, California, married Nora Gusta Dormann in O'Brien County.
In 1925 John, 55, is living with son Otto 25 in Concord, Erie County, New York. Otto and Edna 26 have newborn Gloria.
John 1868-1942 is buried in Osceola County, Iowa # 95037377.

(Kidd) Mesch; father of Keith (Nadine) Mesch, Teri (Randy) Seufert, Connie (Kevin) Ploetz and Daryl (Kim) Mesch; brother of Pearl (Frank) Semon, Harriet (Ed) Sheldon and Orrin Mesch; also survived by 12 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Francis Cabrini RC Church, Collins Center. Burial will be in Collins Center Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements were made by the Mentley Funeral Home, Inc., 105 East Main Street, Gowanda.

followed by a Funeral Service on Saturday at 10 o'clock.
Floyd might be in Stanton, Nebraska October 3, 1969 -
"Floyd Mesch, 71, a Stanton implement dealer for 27 years, died in
a Norfolk hospital Thursday of injuries suffered in a traffic accident
Wednesday. The State Patrol said Mesch was a passenger in a pickup truck
driven by 67-year-old Arthur Lammli of Stanton , which was pulling a loaded
boat trailer. The rig had just passed a farm tractor and wagon northbound
on U.S. 81 four miles south of its junction with U.S. 20 when it went out
of control, plunged off the highway and overturned. Lammli suffered
only minor injuries and was released from the hospital after treatment,
but a third passenger, Norman Hemm, 53, Stanton was hospitalized.
He was reported in good condition Thursday."
The Christine in the 1900 census is likely Celestia, who married
Walter Adolf and lived in Iowa the rest of their lives.
In 1920 O'Brien County, Walter J. Adolph is 25, Celestia 24, with Forest 3 and Dyral 1.
In 1930 Osceola County, Walter is 36, Celestia 35, Deforrest 13, Daryl 11, and Pearl 6.
In 1940 Osceola County, Walter J. is 45, Celestia 44, De Forest 23, Daryl 21, Pearl 11, Dale 8, and Derry two months.
Celestia S. 1895-1947 and Walter J. 1894-1956 are buried in Oseola County.
