Dietrich and Lena Lange, 6 South 43 West
Lena, widow of Dietrich, proved up 134 acres in 5, 6 South, 43W in 1905, and 40 acres in 5 1/2 S 43W in 1905.Edith Eldona Lundvall, 93, of Greeley died Wednesday, July 11, 2002 at the Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado inpatient unit. She was born May 14, 1908, in Hale to Rudolph and Emma (Lange) Lundvall. Miss Lundvall attended school in Hale and moved to Greeley with her family when she was a young woman. She was a bookkeeper for Lundvall Realty for many years. She and her sister, Grace, cared for their parents in their home until the parents died at the ages of 86 and 96. Miss Lundvall was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The sisters spent many hours cooking, baking and delivering food to their elderly friends. They especially enjoyed preparing large family dinners. Edith Lundvall also raised large vegetable gardens and canned or froze ample supplies of fruit and vegetables. She loved teaching her nieces these skills. Survivors are a brother, Elmer Lundvall of Greeley; three nieces and a nephew; and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews and great-grandnieces and great-nephews. Her sister, Grace Bauer, and a brother, Roy Lundvall, are deceased. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Greeley Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will be in Linn Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday at the Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel.Instead of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inc. in care of the Macy Chapel, 702 13th St., Greeley, CO 80631. |
