Gottlieb J. Kollman, 6 South 43 West


Gott. Kollmar, age 20, a baker, arrived in Baltimore in 1869. He appears in the 1870 naturalization records of Ohio.
But that might be Gottlieb Louis Kollmar, in Ohio in 1920.
The Nebraska one is probably the Jacob G. Kollmar marrying Mary Gaiser Feb 16, 1874 in Montgomery County, Ohio.
In 1880 Madison County, Nebraska, "J.G." Kollmar is 31, with Mary 29. They have John 5, Emanuel 3, Fred 1, and Kate one month.
In 1885 Madison County, Jacob is 36, Mary 32, John 10, E. 8, Fritz 7, Annie 5, Sarah 3 and Daniel four months..
Gottlieb Jacob Kollmar proved up a quarter in Madison County in 1885.
One tree said that Mary was married twice, to Gottlieb and to a Theodore Beltz.
Gottlieb cash-claimed a quarter in 25, 6 South, 43W in 1891. Four months later George A. Smith also cash-claimed a quarter there, and Wilhelm Obermann and Franklin C. Rough a mile north in section 13.

Bernard Kollman proved up a quarter in 4S 46W in 1915 - Yuma County.
Minnie Bohrer, formerly Minnie Kollman also proved up a quarter there in 1913.

In 1900 Pierce County, Nebraska, G J. Kollman born March 1849 in Germany is a day laborer, boarding with the Louis Cooper family - also a day laborer..

In 1900 Hamilton County, Ohio, Anna Mary Kollman says she's widowed, born April 1851 in Germany, having four kids, three still living. Anna May 1880 Nebraska, Mary S. June 1882 Nebraska, - both tailors - and M. Magdalena Nov 1887 Nebraska.
Frederick Kollmar, son of Jacob Kollmar, married Fannie Husted, daughter of W. A. Husted, Feb 20, 1907 in Pierce County,.
1907 Norfolk, Nebraska "Jake Kollmar went to Norfolk Tuesday to spend the winter. He calls Pierce his home, however, and expects to return as soon as spring work opens."
1908 - Gottlieb J. Kollmar bought a lot in Ward's suburban in Norfolk for $1,000 from Heinrich Bohlman, W.D.

John Kollmar married Anna Beltz, daughter of Theo. Beltz, January 23, 1907.
Gottlieb J. Kollmar, age 58, married Ida Wilde, age 43, in Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska January 15, 1908. He had been divorced, she was single.
Sarah Kollmar, daughter of J.G. Kollmar, married John Beltz, son of Theodore Beltz, Feb 16, 1909 in Pierce County.
In 1910 Pierce County, Gottlieb is 61, married (3 times ?) two years to Ida, 45, also born in Germany.
Mary is back in Pierce County in 1910, 59, with daughter Sarah 27 Beltz and her husband John 31.
In 1920 Madison County, Nebraska, Gottlieb J. Kollmar is 70, retired, with Ida 54.
In 1920 Pierce County "Marry Hollmer" is 68, living iwth daughter Sarah, 37, Beltz and her husband John 41. Frora 10, Frieda 8 and Edna 7 were all born in Nebraska.

In 1930 Columbus, Ohio, Gottlieb is widowed, 74, father-in-law to Joseph Beh, 45, Germany, and Gennette 49, Ohio. Also with Joseph and Jennette is their nephew Harold Fisher 30, Ohio.
Gottlieb Jacob Kollmar 1849-1931 is buried in Pierce # 62165412, with Ida Wilde Kollmar 18651951.

John 1875-1957 and Anna 1885-1942 are buried in Pierce - so is Anna Maria 1851-1935.
August 1970 "Mrs. Alvin L. (Ruth) Mahoney, 50, died Tuesday at home, 2420 18th Street. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Lee Zabrocki officiating, and burial will be in Prospect View Cemetery at Pierce. The body will lie in state at Gass-Haney Funeral Chapel after 1 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 9 to 10 s.m. Friday. Mrs. Mahoney was a former employee of Dale Electronics for 10 years.
Daughter of the late John and Anna Beltz Kollmar, she was born June 12, 1920 in Pierce County where she received her education. She was a Lutheran. On Nov. 29, 1938 she married Alvin Mahoney in Stanton, and he survives. Also surviving are seven children, James of South Sioux City, Joann Ballou of Omaha, John, Jerry, Joseph, Judy and Jan'of Columbus; seven grand- children; three sisters and two brothers, Doris Kollmar o I Columbus, Sara W a r n e c k e , Clara Wade, Daniel and CarJ Kollmar, all of Norfolk. One daughter, Jeanie, and a brother, Louis of Porland, Ore., preceded her in death."

"Manuel" Kollmar registered in Clay County, Missouri, born Jan 22, 1877 i- he said his nearest relative was G.J. Kollmar, father, of Humbolt, Kansas.
