March 8, 1952 "Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Cunningham of North Fork celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at a reception in the First Baptist Church in Clovis. The couple's four sons, two daughters and 11 grandchildren were present.

Cunningham, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Cunningham, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Davis Whitley, Mr. and Mrs. George Larson, Mr.and Mrs. Wallace Turner, Mrs. Anna Turner, Mrs. Pearl Meloway, Mr and Mrs. Howard Argent, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bender, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hammer, Mr. and Mrs George Miles, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Gilbert, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Stoltey, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Kimbler, Rilcy D, Patterson, Mr and Mrs. Vaud Cunningham and Mrs. Laura Nevins.
Mrs. Nevins attended the couples wedding in Columbia, Mo. Cordelia Ross of Clovis was in charge of the guest book, and Mrs. Thomas Cunningham and Mrs. Davis Whitley presided at the tea table."
(Laura Nevins was the daughter of John Argent and Lura Cunningham, so she was a niece of John Cunningham. In 104- she and Charles R. Nevis are in Fresno, and they are buried in Clovis Laura 1884-1979 # 97436610, and Charles 1881-1967.

John Estes 1909-1988 is buried in Fresno County "Services for J.E. "Shorty" Cunningham, 79, of Clovis, longtime cattle rancher and pack station operator, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Tollhouse Cemetery. Mr. Cunningham died Wednesday. Born in Hail, Colo., he came to Clovis in 1917 with his family. He and his family operated a ranch in Clovis and later lived in Taft and Shafter before returning to Clovis. He was a 1928 graduate of Clovis High School. He attended college briefly at California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. He later returned home and moved with his family to North Fork, where he continued to work on the family ranch. " # 42440405

(January 1949 Fresno Mrs. Laura Dean Argent, a leader in the Clovis Baptist Church and a resident here for 35 years, died today in her home at 320 DeWitt Street. She was a native of Missouri. " Surviving her are a son, Rollte Argent ot Tail; two daughters, Mrs, Charles Ncvins and Mrs. Luther Gray, both of Clovis; a sister, Mrs. Jullia Dunn of Missouri; a brother, Jack Cunningham ot North Fork; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral arrangements are beinz made by the _Bo'ce Funeral Home. "
