Gilfred Alexander Collins,6 South 43 West

T.A. Collins married Annie Horner in Denton, Texas October 8, 1889.

In 1900 Denton County, Texas, T.H. Collins is a nurserymanborn May 1846 Tennessee, with Annie April 1855 Scotland. Olive May 1890, Fred Nov 1891, and Ruth Nov 1896 all born in Texas. Annie's sister Susan Horner Dec 1858, Ireland, is also with them.
Per one tree "Thomas died Feb. 9, 1914 at Siloam Springs, Ark. and buried at Oak Hill Cemetery.."

In 1920 Phillips County, Colorado, Annie H. Collins is 65, a lodger with Thornton and Maggie Latta. She was 65, widowwed, born in Ireland, immigrating in 1879. With them is Olive C. Collins, a cook, 29 and Gilfred A. 28, a laborer, both born in Texas.
July 1920 "Miss Olive Collins, who has been visiting in Holyoke for the past month has returned to Greeley."

Gilfred proved up 80 acres in 6, 6S 43W in 1923.
In 1930 "Girfred" is in Fitsimons General (VA) hospital in Adams County, Colorado.
In 1940 Weld County, Fred COllins, 48, is living with sister Olive C. Hansford, 49, and her husband Arthur J. 62, West Virginia.

Gilfred A. Collins 1891-1961 is buried in Greeley, per # 65218000.
January 6, 1961 Arizona Republic "Funeral services for Gilfred A. Collins, 69, who died here Wednesday in the home of his sister, Ruth Collins, will be in Greeley, Colo. Mr. Collins, a resident of Greeley, was a regular winter visitor to Arizona. His only other survivor is another sister, Mrs. Olive Hansford, Greeley. Mr. Collins, a World War I veteran, was a member of the American Legion. "

Anna (Hoener) Collins 1854-1923 is also buried there, # 65218002. Gilfred's sister Ruth J. Collins, apparently never married, 1894-19972 is also buried there # 65218001.
