Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Prestage, 67, who died Sunday at her home
in the Piano district will be held to-morrow at 10 'clock at the
Loyd-Frietzsche Chapel. Rev. C. H. M. Sutherland of the Methodist Episcopal
Church viil officiate. Interment will be in the Piano Cemetery.
Mrs. Prestage had been a resident of the Portcrville district
for forty years. She was a native of Ohio. Surviving: are five daughters.
Mrs. Hnuna Jackson. Mrs. Russell B. Scranton and Mrs. Jack MacLachlan
of Porterville, Mrs. Edward Homer of Iximon Cove and Mrs. Tate Miller
of San Pedro; one son, Edgar L. Prestage of this city; five sisters,
Mrs. Luella Martin, Mrs. Joanna Bastian. Mrs. Hattie A. Wells,
Mrs. Eva Gray and Mrs. Leonr.ine Wells; a brother, Charles E. Crooks
and another sister, Mrs. Clara Battews of Boise, Idaho."
