Marjorie Heidenreich 69, Dies at Home Mrs. Marjorie I. Heidenreich, wife of George Heidenreich of Lookout Mountain, died Sept. 8, at her home. Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 11 at Woods Memorial Chapel with internment in Rockland Cemetery. The Rev. Lyle Schossow of the Rockland Community church officiated. Born Jan. 9, 1895, in Pipestone, Minn., Marjorie Connelly was the daughter of Dennis and Alice Partridge Connelly. The family moved to Holly, Colo. Where Mr. Connelly was a United States Marshal and a sheriff when the Cherokee strip in Oklahoma bordered Colorado. Many interesting accounts of early days in Colorado could be recalled by Mrs. Heidenreich. The Connellys were among the first of the ranchers in the Arkansas Valley to raise sugar beets. In 1917 the Connellys moved to Lookout Mountain where they established a cattle ranch. Miss Connelly married George Heidenreich 24 years ago in St. Francis, Kans. They have lived on Lookout Mountain for many years. Surviving are her husband George; two brothers, Lionel and Llewellyn Connelly, both of Lookout Mountain; two sisters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Ralston of Lookout and Mrs. Beatrice O'Dell of Pueblo; three nieces and five nephews.
