False front businesses along Aspen Street are on a slope above the station. A group of men stand outside the Elk Saloon. Next door is the "Cottage Bar, Ed McDonald Prop.," "Grahams Silverbrick, Excursionists Lunch Room, with a striped pole in front of it and the Arrow Hotel. Arrow was the first incorporated town in Grand County in 1904.
𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐲: 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Arrow was the end of the line on the Denver & Salt Lake Railroad that went over Rollins Pass. The railroad continued construction the next year and Arrow became a ghost town in a few years.
