1928 Main Street Granby Colorado
Granby Colorado 1929
Granby 1978
This great building has been many things in it's lifetime. It started
out as the Granby Mercantile, with Lefty and Dutch Selak as the general
proprietors. I believe they were the first owners because Selak,
Colorado moved to the Town of Granby site when the railroad came through
town. Middle Park Auto (the Ford Garage) owned the building, probably
even back then.
Later, Jim Fulk's dad bought the business from the
Selak brothers and opened Don's Market. Dutch stayed on and there as
long as Jim's dad owned the store, and for awhile with Ed Raffety (Mr.
Ed's Market).
Today, Autumn Bishop owns this great building and has a
wonderful shop there.
