Oren and Marie Harmon
Turns out he was a hero, saved Fred Munro's daughter from drowning in Fravert, July 6, 1919.
He was the son of WJ Harmon who came to Rifle in 1913. WJ bought the Stone Meat Market. Became a successful farmer rancher maybe banker. WJ's father was a doctor. Orin, aka Oren, aka Oran saved two girls from drowing July 6, 1919. A group of youngsters was at Fravert, two girls were drowning. One was Fred Munro's daughter Ruth. Orin was the only strong swimmer among the boys and was across the lake. Using a raft, and with some help, he pulled both girls out. He possibly was man of the year for that. The boy scouts presented him a lifesaving badge, John Munro personally made the presentation.

Oren Harmon March 17, 1904 - March 16, 1982
Marie Patterson March 16, 1911 - March 1, 2000 Marie was adopted. She married Oren Harmon. After his death, she remarried twice, once to a Mr. Anderson, who died, then to Lawrence Tolini. Marie was an amazing human being. She is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery Marie Tolini.
