Twenty-nine miles south of Alamosa on D&R.G. Railway.
Sheep raising and general farming are principal industries here.
Fine potatoes are grown here and pea growing is an important industry.
The town is lighted by electricity and has a fine gravity system of waterworks.
The water comes from running springs. There are two papers, two hotels, a good bank and
