LAKEVIEW CEMETERY
Broomfield, Colorado
Lakeview Cemetery is located in the NE1/4 of the NE ¼ of Section 35, Township 1S, Range 69W, 6th P.M. The cemetery is on Eagle Way (previously W. 10th Avenue), just west of the intersection of Main & Midway, and across the street from Broomfield High School. Lakeview is an active cemetery and is owned by the City and County of Broomfield. It was incorporated in 1890, the oldest grave is that of Baby Anderson, July 30, 1889. There are five Public Paupers Graves whose locations are not known. These are noted in the block column as PPG. Graves with markers are noted with an asterisk. This is probably not a complete list of all burials. It is almost certainly not a complete list of lot owners since many are missing. The information in the index was taken from copies of the original burial books which are housed at the Broomfield Depot Museum and combined with a cemetery survey done in 1997. Special thanks to Peggy Atkinson, Broomfield Depot Museum Director, for the use of these records.
