" Last Friday morning Mrs. Albertson passed at the home after a short illness.
It was not thought that she was dangerously sick, but she had come to town on Tuesdav,
and was stopping at the home of her father, in order to be close to the Dr.
She had teen suffering for the past year or more with Bright's disease.
Her youngest child was just four weeks old. On Thursday night her husband gave her medicine at
midnight, and as she appeared to be resting easily, went to the adjoining room and
gave her father his medicine. At midnight, she passed into a sleep from which she never
awakened, or when her husband went to her bedside at 3 a m, he found that her
spirit hid fled. She had, apparently, been dead a few minutes, as her body was warm.
The funeral services were held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in the Methodist church,
Rev. Miller having been called home from his vacation to conduct the services.
In a few short and appropriate remarks, be spoke words of consolation to the bereaved husband
and children, and brother relatives. Interment was made
in the Goodland cemetery, and it was a long procession that followed to the last resting
place all that was mortal of one who, until so lately, was among us, but on whom the
Reaper, whose name is death, hath ustd his sickle.
