Lelia proved up 152 acres in section 6, 6S 50W and section 1, 6S 51W in 1915.
She proved up another 30 acres in 6S 51W in 1921.
LELIA'S FAMILY
Mechanicsville, Missouri "The Home of John W. Callison
On an unnumbered lot back of the blacksmith shop was a house built by Mr.
John Morris and first used as a mill for grinding corn. When Mr. Elias Silvey
bought lots 7, 8, and 9 and the adjoining acreage in 1890, he moved this house
to the west side of the blacksmith shop and used it for a harness shop and
later for a dairy. Mr. Gamble at one time was postmaster here. October 10, 1908,
Mr. Silvey sold the house to his son-in-law, Mr. John W. Callison,
who moved it back to its original position. Here he, his wife,
Viola Silvey Callison, and their four daughters - Ival, Hazel, Myrtle, and Leavern - lived for several years."
The home of Mamie Tarbell Silvey and Grover Silvey was built on land which
Grover inherited from his mother. In 1940 he took the house down in sections
and moved it to Wentzville where he rebuilt it just as it had been.

home of his parents. Survivors include his parents, a brother, Merle, and a sister,
Colleen. Graveside service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at Elwall cemetery In Johnstown."

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Morris, parents of Mrs. Christian. Her brother,
Donald Morris with his wife and three children came Sunday from
California to add to the group"

Leona F. Christian, 26, married Jack L. R. Fitzpatrick on June 4, 1930 in Pueblo.
February 2, 1982 " Veteran statehouse broadcast reporter Jack Fitzpatrick, the only man in Colorado ever to be declared a state landmark, died early Tuesday. He was 81.
A spokesman for KHOW radio, where Fitzpatrick worked until his retirement in 1980, said the dean of the statehouse reporters for several years suffered a massive heart attack at 5 a.m. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Leona."
The KHOW management only last December named its new newsrooms the Jack Fitzpatrick News Center.
Fitzpatrick, with the ever-present cigarette in his hand, was known for his curt statements at questionable news conferences held by some polititians. At one point he asked: 'Why the hell did you even bother to hold this thing?'
The Statehouse press room was named in Fitzpatrick's honor a few years ago, and in April 1980, Gov. Richard Lamm and William H. Hornby, then president of the Colorado Historical Society, signed a resolution certifying Fitzpatrick as a landmark in the State of Colorado.
The resolution noted that Fitzpatrick, also known as Jacques LeRoy Fitzpatrick, has been 'reviewed against each of the criteria established by the secetary of the interior to signify the significant heritage of the nation.'
'I am probably the first and last person who ever will be certified as a landmark,' Fitzpatrick said at the time.
Fitzpatrick, who began his career as a teenage copyboy for the Pueblo Chieftain, was the first broadcast journalist to cover the Capitol. He ventured into the Statehouse as a radio reporter for KLZ in 1931 after covering the Legislature for the Pueblo newpaper.
Retirement came up on March 12, 1970, when Fitzpatrick was a spry 70 years old and legislators honored him at a party. But Fitzpatrick was back at work the following day and the incident led to annual retirement parties for the veteran newsman.

Marvin's maternal uncle Thomas William Clark 1861-1917 homesteaded near Brandon, Colorado, was a county sheriff, and is buried in Prowers COunty, COlorado near Holly.
