"Warrenton Spiller Pike (son of William Pike and Cinda Young) was born Sep 23, 1832 in Williamson County, Illinois, and died Apr 30, 1915 in Tuttle, Colorado.He married Elizabeth Duncan on Feb 04, 1852, daughter of Dudley W. Duncan and Elizabeth Turner. "
His brother William D. Pike and two daughters also came to Kit Carson County.

In 1880 Marshall County, Kansas, W.S. Pike is 48, Elizabeth 44, Priestly 19, George E. 15, Annie 11, and Ella M. 6.
They were born in Illinois, except the two daughters in Kansas.
