She had been a Delta resident since 1919. She was born April 6, 1900, in Kansas, the daughter of Frederick and Eleanor (Raider) Welhausen. She spent her childhood in Graham County, Kan., and in Delta, where she graduated from high school. She married Thomas Meeker in 1939 in Washington. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Delta. She enjoyed quilting and watching hummingbirds and small wildlife which she fed every day outside her window. Survivors include two grandchildren, Avonne Raymond of Mariono Valley, Calif., and Ed Proctor; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Vera. Funeral services for Mrs. Meeker are scheduled at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 30, at Delta City Cemetery. Visitation hours are from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at Mesa View Mortuary, which is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Assembly of God, P.O.
